Meet Ernest L. Dancy of The Mobile Television Network Company

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ernest L. Dancy.

Hi Ernest L., please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My story as it pertains to this chapter of my professional life began in 2021, during the second year of the pandemic… I had been shopping my film and television IPs (on my own) to different networks and production companies. One of the production companies offered me an option for a game show I had created and I needed an agency to negotiate the deal on my behalf. I reached out to The Wayne Agency and they agreed to take me on. Fast forward to a couple months later, the head of the literary dept left and Terrece Lynn, the owner of TWA approached me about stepping into that role, since I was already getting myself tons of pitch meetings – “simply do that same thing for our other clients”, said Terrece, so I accepted. Hundreds of pitch meetings later, the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes, down turn of the film and television industry in Hollywood, the battle over TikTok, and a drastic change in how the masses were actively choosing to consume content, it dawned on me (in the Fall of 2024), that there needed to be a new distribution model… and that is when the idea for VIEWS was born.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The biggest challenge was building the VIEWS app, because I am not a coder, I used a low code platform to do build it out, but that still takes a lot of custom coding to actually make the app function and have the specific features that I needed it to have. I literally had to ask chat GPT hundreds of thousands of questions in order to accomplish this. I had to utilize the AI as an instructor of sorts as I myself built it out. It was very hard to do… but I stuck with it and sacrificed until I got a first version (MVP) done, which was in July of 2025.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about The Mobile Television Network Company?
The MTN Company is a (tech leaning) multi media conglomerate that focuses on the inception, creation and distribution of entertaining content of all sorts that range from film, television, mobile and beyond… with an emphasis on bridging the gap between where projects are exhibited and how viewers choose to watch them. The Mobile Television Network is a Company that truly delivers to people (wherever they are) entertainment they can enjoy; whether it be from studios and independent producers, or user-generated content, hence… the company’s first offering: VIEWS – the social multimedia app that shall combine both the joys of user-generated content and the elevated viewing pleasure of traditional broadcast television and streaming on one platform. VIEWS is actually available now in the AppStore for iOS and Google Play for Android devices, as well as a web version, all of which can be access via www.views.watch. VIEWS will be the future of content and televised streaming distribution… A place where users are free to watch, create and enjoy, while networks, cablers and studios will have a destination (where their target demographic is already dwelling) for their IPs to be seen… Which also serves as THEE solution for everyone’s advertising partners.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
The overall weather, year-round’ (of course)… and the fact that it’s possible to be anywhere in LA, bump into somebody you never thought you’d meet in person and spark up a conversation that could change everything… What I like least about LA are the high gas prices and taxes.
