Today we’d like to introduce you to Lauren Taylor.

Hi Lauren, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My journey with Placenta Encapsulation began 13 years ago when I experienced the life-changing benefits, first-hand, with my 3rd and last baby. After having each of my first 2 babies I experienced debilitating Postpartum Depression and unfortunately the medication that my Doctor prescribed ended up causing seizures. So, with my last baby I was desperate to find a natural alternative. Not only did my Placenta Pills prevent PPD, but they also helped me in so many other unexpected ways! With my first 2 babies I struggled with milk production, to the point where even pumping was unsuccessful, but with the hormonal support that my Placenta Pills provided I had a healthy and consistent milk supply and was able to breast-feed my last baby for over 2 years! All of my deliveries were C-Sections, so I felt like I knew what to expect regarding my recovery the last time around. I expected my recovery to be slow and painful, but it was quite the opposite! I started taking my placenta pills while still in the Hospital and was amazed that I was able to move around sooner, and with less pain, than before. It wasn’t until I became trained in the art of placenta remedies that I learned why! For me, the positive effects of consuming my placenta were life-changing and ultimately fueled my passion to become trained and certified in Placenta Services! That was over a decade ago and I am now triple-certified! I have been blessed to be able to provide services in California, Washington, Texas, and now California once again! Supporting newly postpartum Moms is a true passion of mine, as I know what a delicate journey it can be, and nothing brings me more joy than being able to help new Moms have a better postpartum recovery.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
As a small-business owner, there have certainly been struggles and setbacks along the way. When I started my business, over a decade ago, Social Media wasn’t what it is now and spreading awareness about the benefits of placental consumption, as well as promoting my business, was much more difficult. In addition, moving states multiple times presented setbacks in the growth of my business. However, with time and experience I became more accustomed to the gradual growth that would eventually occur after each move, and I was able to focus on and appreciate the blessing of being able to offer my services to a wider range of clients in new locations! Safety and efficacy have always been my top priorities, which is why continued education, training, and certifications are an important on-going endeavor.

As a self-employed, Widowed Mom of 3, helping others is what truly brings me joy! I have always viewed hardships in my life and in my business as learning opportunities and a chance to improve! Even the most crushing hardships have taught me that I am stronger and more resilient than I ever imagined. In life and in my business I am constantly trying to improve and strive to offer honesty, good communication, and consistency!
