Today we’d like to introduce you to Antonio Hardy.
Hi Antonio, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Our story really starts back in 2022.
I created A Conversation Worldwide as a personal outlet. It began as a podcast where I could sit down with people, have real conversations, talk openly about mental health, and just connect with more humans on a deeper level. It was never about going viral — it was about building a space where honesty and community came first.
By 2023, those conversations turned into action.
We started hosting events, and one of our first big ones was called Fusion, where we brought together different artists and creatives to build community through collaboration. That year, we ended up throwing around 13 events — some paid, some free — all designed to bring people together. Along the way, we produced short films, ran photoshoots, and even helped people land job opportunities. The mission stayed the same: create more meaningful conversations and bring people into rooms they might not normally have access to.
Fast forward to 2025 — we’ve evolved.
All the conversations I had with founders, artists, and creatives over the years showed me one major thing: everyone is trying to build something, but most people lack support. That insight pushed us to morph into a technology startup focused on creating tools that actually support people while they build.
Today, we’re developing software for business solutions, and our first product is Agenci by ACW — spelled with an “i.” It gives business owners their own personalized AI mentor that helps them understand what’s working, what’s not working, and exactly how to fix issues at every stage of building their business.
Everything we’re doing now comes from those early conversations.
Over time, I realized that support is the difference-maker. That’s why our tagline is “Anything is possible with the right support.” And that’s exactly what we’re building: real, accessible support for anyone — no matter your background, experience, or resources. Everyone should have the same opportunity to build something great.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road.
A lot of the challenges honestly came from me personally. Even though I had a background in consulting and entrepreneurship, building something from scratch that’s meant to help other people is a completely different journey than building something just for yourself. It forces you to grow in ways you don’t expect.
I had to learn how to understand people better, how to understand business at a deeper level, and how to balance the responsibility of creating something meaningful for a community. One of the biggest lessons was realizing that when you work with others, you have to meet them exactly where they are. And early on, I wasn’t always doing that.
Another major struggle was foundation. I learned the hard way that if you don’t have a strong foundation before you bring people in, things can fall apart — and when that happens, everyone is left confused and wondering what the vision was. We did so many great things in the early years, but the direction wasn’t always clear, and that caused challenges.
But through all of that, I grew. I learned to adapt, to stay grounded in my values, and to keep pushing toward the bigger picture. Now, the path is much clearer, and those struggles ended up shaping me and shaping the direction of the company in the best way.
We’ve been impressed with A Conversation Worldwide, inc, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
A Conversation Worldwide — or ACW — is really built around one core idea: support.
We create tools and experiences that help people build, grow, and move forward, no matter where they’re starting from. Today, we specialize in business technology, and our flagship product is Agenci by ACW, an AI-powered mentor that helps business owners understand what’s working, what’s not working, and exactly how to fix it. It’s like having a business strategist, analyst, and accountability partner all in one place.
But something important happened along the journey.
For years, ACW had amazing momentum — events, films, community-building — but the direction wasn’t always clear. That changed when I met my co-founder and CFO, Jessica Jameson. She’s been instrumental in helping bring structure, clarity, and long-term vision to what we’re building. We mesh incredibly well, and for the first time, the mission and the business strategy are in full alignment. Having someone like Jessica navigating the financial foundation and operational clarity has been a game-changer.
What truly sets us apart is our ability — and our commitment — to continue.
Building anything is hard. There are highs, lows, slow seasons, and moments where you’re unsure of the next step. Most people stop not because they aren’t capable, but because they don’t have the right support. That belief is the heart of our brand. We’ve lived it — and that’s why we built software designed to help people push through those moments instead of getting stuck in them.
Brand-wise, the thing we’re most proud of is our consistency and resilience. No matter how the vision evolved, we kept going. And now, that resilience is baked into the tools we’re offering founders, creators, and business owners everywhere.
What we want readers to know is simple:
Anything is possible with the right support — and our mission is to provide that support at scale. ACW isn’t just another tech company. It’s a brand built on years of conversation, community, listening, and real human experience. And our software reflects that. We’re here to help people stay on their path, grow with confidence, and build something meaningful, no matter their background.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
What I love most about Los Angeles is the people.
On any given day, you never know who you’re going to meet or what kind of story you’re going to run into. There’s this constant mix of characters, creatives, and dreamers, and that energy makes the city feel alive. Every interaction has the potential to turn into something meaningful — a conversation, an opportunity, or just a moment you remember.
What I like least is definitely the logistics of getting around.
The traffic can be overwhelming, and sometimes just traveling a few miles feels like a mission. It’s part of the LA experience, but it’s definitely the part I could do without.
