Today we’d like to introduce you to Ronit Greenspan.
Hi Ronit , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I grew up on the Upper West Side of New York, in a world that was culturally rich and intellectually stimulating, but also highly competitive. From a young age, I was surrounded by people who valued education, achievement, and ambition, and that environment instilled in me a drive to set high standards for myself. I went on to attend Yale, where I further developed my skills, expanded my perspective, and built a network that would become invaluable throughout my career.
After graduation, I began working at Chase in finance. That experience gave me a deep understanding of money management, investment strategies, and the financial systems that shape opportunities for individuals and businesses alike. It was an important foundation that taught me discipline, analytical thinking, and how to navigate complex financial structures.
Eventually, I moved to Beverly Hills, where I shifted my focus toward real estate and the rental market. What started as curiosity quickly became a passion as I realized I could combine my financial expertise with tangible assets to create meaningful value. Managing rental properties allowed me to understand markets at a granular level, identify opportunities where others saw risk, and guide others in making strategic property investments.
Looking back, every step of this journey has been connected. Growing up in New York taught me resilience, Yale taught me strategy, finance taught me discipline, and real estate taught me how to transform knowledge into real-world results. Each experience reinforced the importance of preparation, calculated risk-taking, and seizing opportunities when they arise. Today, my work in real estate is not just about properties, but about helping others achieve stability, growth, and financial independence.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road has definitely not been completely smooth. There were moments when I questioned whether I was on the right path, especially early in my career when transitioning from finance to real estate. Moving to Beverly Hills and stepping into a market that was unfamiliar and highly competitive came with its own set of challenges. I had to learn the nuances of property management, understand the rental market in detail, and build credibility from scratch in a new community.
There were also personal challenges. Balancing ambition with patience, dealing with skepticism from people who doubted my choices, and navigating high-pressure environments all tested my resilience. I faced situations where I had to take risks without a guaranteed outcome, and at times it felt like I was walking a tightrope.
But those struggles taught me invaluable lessons. They reinforced the importance of preparation, persistence, and trusting my own judgment. Every obstacle ultimately became an opportunity to grow, and looking back, I realize those challenges shaped the way I approach real estate, business, and life today.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Maison Nouvelle ?
My work is centered on real estate, with a focus on helping people navigate the rental and investment markets with clarity and confidence. What sets my work apart is that it is grounded in both experience and education. I don’t just provide transactions; I provide guidance, insight, and tools that empower clients to make informed decisions. I take the time to understand each client’s goals, challenges, and circumstances, and I tailor my approach accordingly.
Brand-wise, I’m most proud of the reputation I’ve built for honesty, reliability, and results. My clients know that I treat their investments as if they were my own, and that commitment has become a defining feature of my brand.
I want readers to know that my offerings go beyond simply buying, selling, or renting properties. I help clients understand the market, assess opportunities, and take steps that create real value over time. Whether someone is entering real estate for the first time or looking to expand their portfolio, my goal is to provide guidance that is practical, strategic, and rooted in integrity.
We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
I view risk as an essential part of growth, but it’s never something I take lightly. For me, risk is about preparation, information, and calculated decision-making rather than chance or impulse. I’ve taken major risks throughout my career, and each one has been an opportunity to learn and grow.
One of the biggest risks I took was leaving a stable career in finance to pursue real estate full-time. At the time, it meant stepping into a completely new market, building credibility from scratch, and investing in properties without a guaranteed outcome. I also took financial risks when investing in under-market or overlooked properties — situations where most people would have hesitated.
Those experiences taught me that risk is never about avoiding failure entirely. It’s about understanding the potential downsides, preparing as thoroughly as possible, and having the courage to act when the opportunity aligns with your vision and capabilities. Risk, when approached thoughtfully, can open doors that comfort and caution never will.
