Today we’d like to introduce you to Delia Farizath.

Hi Delia , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My journey with hair extensions actually started when I was 17. I had a bad haircut and a bleaching process that damaged my natural hair, so I tried extensions and they completely changed my life. They didn’t just fix my hair; they gave me back my confidence. That experience opened a path I never expected would become my passion.

While I was still in high school, I learned my very first technique: I-Tip. Later, I went on to study International Logistics at Tec de Monterrey, and during those years, I had the opportunity to travel and study abroad in different countries, including Asia. While traveling, I started studying different types of hair from various nationalities, comparing quality, textures, and durability. That’s when I began building my own hair line, sourcing the highest-quality hair, and selling it to other extension specialists.

After graduating in logistics, I moved to New York to study acting, and even in the entertainment industry, hair was always the most important accessory, it completely transformed a character, an image, or a moment.

Later on, I met my husband, and I decided to step away from acting for a while to start a family. That’s when I went all in on applying the techniques I had learned around the world, without really knowing it was going to become a hit in the industry.

Today, I work full time doing what I love: installing luxury extensions and providing premium quality hair through HairyTales Extensions and Fary Extensions, a business born from my own journey, my passion for beauty, and the belief that hair has the power to restore confidence.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Honestly, it hasn’t always been smooth. Balancing school, traveling, and experimenting with hair while building my own line was challenging. Later, transitioning from acting to focusing on my business and starting a family brought its own obstacles. But every struggle taught me resilience and helped me create the luxury, high-quality experience my clients enjoy today.

For me, my family is the most important thing, and my passion for hair extensions and creating beautiful transformations brings me joy and fulfillment every day. Finding that balance takes effort, so I can be the best mom, the best wife, and the best extensionist and entrepreneur I can be. I always strive to be my best version and bring high energy to everything I do, because I know we create our own heaven and I’m living it. Every day is joyful, and I truly enjoy everything I do.
