Exploring Life & Business with Taina Vale of Taina Vale Immigration Law Offices

Today we’d like to introduce you to Taina Vale.

Hi taina, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I arrived to LA 10 years ago with my 13 year old daughter as a puertorrican attorney wanting to do acting. I did work as backstage actress it was a dream come true to be in all this studios and with Hollywood actors and directors, as we all know this type of job to be on the top it takes years so for financia reasons I did other jobs that could let more money come in, then landed in law jobs and eventually since I am bilingual and a trial attorney I landed in Immigration law offices in the removal defense unit or Immigration Court attorney with a lot of success wining difficult asylum cases, I did this hard work for years until this year that, recently I just started my own immigration law firm.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Its been and still is a great learning experience of determination, hard work, patience, persistence, self-love and believing in my own abilities. Well struggles on the way I encountered some, thanks to the universe nothing major, just some financial limitations at certain points, wanting things right away when in cities like LA it takes years to build trust and land what you want; loneliness, when you start working so intense you barely have time for socializing and wasting time, this was positive because you are more exclusive now with time and who you want to share it with and doing what. Still in my mission to achieve all my desires and goals.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
I am a bilingual (Spanish and English) immigration attorney with over 20 years of experience, based in Los Angeles, California. I interview, prepare, and represent clients in asylum trials, preliminary hearings, and final hearings in immigration courts throughout Southern California. I have handled over 1,000 immigration trial cases related to deportation defense. I have extensive experience in all aspects of immigration matters. I have successfully litigated asylum applications in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Santa Ana and San Diego, 42B applications, and adjustment of status cases. I prepare asylum declarations and applications, U visas, TVPRA, parole, VAWA, I-130, 42A, and 42B applications. My experience and track record in immigration law are characterized by efficiency, sharpness, ethics, and honesty in my work.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
In all the places I worked I did learned a lot. I do have to recognize the one person that has been there supporting me in all my journey has been my daughter.
