Meet Taylor Boren of Boren Law, P.C.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Taylor Boren.

Hi Taylor, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve always been drawn to work that makes a tangible difference in people’s lives.

Early in my legal career, from my first summer as a legal intern, I found myself advocating for survivors of sexual abuse against the institutions that enabled their abusers. I quickly realized that this wasn’t just legal work; it was deeply human work. Each successful case could positively re-shape an entire life. I liked that.

Over the years, I began to understand just how overwhelming the legal system can feel for those already carrying trauma. That’s what inspired me to devote my career to fight for survivors of sexual abuse and, ultimately, to start Boren Law: to create a space where advocacy and compassion go together. Every step of my journey—from law school to running my own law firm—has been about helping abuse survivors find both justice and healing.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Founding and running Boren Law hasn’t always been a smooth road.

Starting a law firm brings its own challenges —managing the business side, leading a team, and, most importantly, carrying the responsibility of helping conclude some very heavy stories with a sense of justice and healing. It’s not enough to coldly represent my clients as some distant, aloof lawyer; sexual abuse cases are much more personal than many other cases, and this requires that my firm and I also take into account the unique needs of every client we represent.

Still, every challenge has made me more empathetic and more intentional about the kind of practice I want to lead: one rooted in both strength and compassion for my clients.

As you know, we’re big fans of Boren Law, P.C.. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Boren Law primarily represents survivors of sexual abuse, often in childhood.

If readers take away one thing about me and my law firm, it’s that a survivor of sex abuse is not alone. Help is available, and my firm and I are here to aggressively fight for that survivor to obtain justice and healing.

Whether you suffered sexual abuse in juvenile detention, in foster care, at school, through a religious institution, in a medical center, or on a sports team, my law firm is there to help you obtain justice, compensation, and healing. At Boren Law, we believe you. We care. We will fight for you.

My firm combines trauma-informed legal representation with a client-centered approach. This means we meet each person where they are, and Boren Law guides them through the process with empathy and clarity. What sets us apart is our belief that fierce justice and healing can coexist—that clients shouldn’t have to choose between strong advocacy and compassionate support. I’m proud that our brand reflects that: strength with heart.
