Today we’d like to introduce you to Rose Kreider.
Hi Rose, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Couture Tutu by Rose —
Couture Tutu by Rose began as a deeply personal creative outlet. I’ve always been drawn to pieces that hold a sense of story and movement — garments that feel like they belong on stage, in a fairytale, or in a memory. What started as a single hand-crafted tutu for fun while roaming around the house during Covid quickly evolved into a passion for designing custom pieces that make people feel seen, celebrated, and enchanting.
The brand grew organically through word of mouth and community, rooted in the belief that fashion can be both whimsical and intentional. I specialize in one-of-one custom tutus and couture-inspired costume pieces that blend elegance with artistry — each piece tailored to the personality and spirit of the person wearing it.
Today, Couture Tutu by Rose is expanding into editorial pieces, runway showcases, and collaborative designs for film and stage. I’m building a brand that values craftsmanship, imagination, and emotional connection — turning fabric and tulle into wearable dreams.

Rose Kreider Productions —
I started Rose Kreider Productions in 2022 out of a love for storytelling and a belief that independent filmmaking should feel intimate, impactful, and human. I’ve always been fascinated by the power of emotion on screen — how a single scene or line can shift someone’s perspective or stay with them forever.
In the early stages, I worked as an actor on small local sets and self-funded projects, learning every aspect of production from directing to cinematography to post-production. Over time, I honed my vision and built a team of passionate collaborators who also believed in telling raw, heartfelt, visually immersive stories.
Since then, I’ve directed and produced multiple films, eight to be exact, including my Seattle adaptation of A Christmas Carol, which premiered in November 2024 in-front of a full audience and later released on Amazon Fire TV this 2025 season. My work continues to focus on stories with emotional depth — narratives about healing, human connection, resilience, and transformation. I am currently in production for my first and Seattle’s very first fully featured an animated film using AI! So stay tuned for that.
Today, Rose Kreider Productions is growing into a creative studio that blends film, fashion, and art direction — bringing cinematic storytelling to life through visual design, performance, and atmosphere. My mission is to create work that moves people, lingers in their hearts, and reminds them of the magic in being human.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
For Couture Tutu by Rose, the journey has actually felt really natural and smooth. I think part of that is because there’s nothing quite like what I’m creating in the Seattle fashion market — there was space for whimsy, storytelling, and couture-inspired tutus, and I stepped into it confidently. I don’t regret it for a second. The process of growing this brand introduced me to a core circle of friends, collaborators, and creatives who share the same passion for design and performance as I do. It’s felt like building a little creative family, and it has genuinely been fun.
With Rose Kreider Productions, the road has been more challenging. Independent filmmaking demands a lot — emotionally, financially, and logistically — and there have been plenty of moments where projects took longer, cost more, or shifted direction entirely. Those challenges are actually what led me to expand into animation. It’s a new frontier for me, but it’s exciting. I love the freedom of creating characters and entire environments from scratch on a screen. It feels like a new way to express my stories — one that’s both creatively thrilling and more sustainable for where I am now.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I work at the intersection of fashion, film, and storytelling.
With Couture Tutu by Rose, I specialize in creating one-of-a-kind couture tutus and fantasy-inspired garments that feel like they were pulled from a dream, a stage, or a fairytale. Each piece is designed with intention — soft, elegant, romantic, and expressive. I’m known for blending theatrical silhouettes with modern editorial styling, and for creating pieces that make people feel like the most magical version of themselves.
What sets these tutus apart is that they aren’t mass-produced or trend-driven — they are crafted for personality, presence, and emotion. Every piece is a collaboration with the person wearing it, built to honor who they are and how they want to feel.
I’m most proud of the community that has formed around the brand —professionals, models, creators, and close friends who believe in creativity, play, beauty, and imagination.
⸻
With Rose Kreider Productions, I focus on emotional, intimate storytelling — films that explore transformation, nostalgia, magic, and the complexities of being human. I started in live-action filmmaking and have created multiple narrative projects.
What sets my film work apart is the atmosphere — I lean heavily into mood, color, tone, and emotional pacing. I want my films to feel like memories you can step into.
I’m now expanding into animation, where I can build entire worlds from imagination. I love being able to design characters, environments, and emotional landscapes from scratch — it feels like pure artistic freedom.
My Biggest Accomplishment
One of my biggest accomplishments with Rose Kreider Productions was the release of my very first film, The Woman. When it debuted and became available to stream on Roku TV, and then later showed up on Tubi TV, I remember physically shaking with excitement. I sat in front of my own television, typed in the title, and saw it appear — my film, on a real platform, in the same place as everything I grew up watching.
Watching the view count climb was surreal. It went from a thousand views… to ten thousand… to fifty thousand within just a few months. Then I received my first paycheck from the film — and shortly after, I found out it was being watched in over 50 countries, including places as far as Africa.
For a first-time filmmaker, that was life-changing. It was the moment where the dream became real — where the work I poured my heart into actually reached people I had never met, in places I had never been. It reminded me that stories travel. And that my voice — no matter how local or independent — can be seen and felt around the world.
What was your favorite childhood memory?
One of my favorite childhood memories has always been Christmas time. There was something about that season — the lights, the music, the cold air, the way everyone seemed to slow down and soften — that felt like pure magic to me. I remember being little and staring at the Christmas tree for what felt like hours, just watching the lights twinkle and imagining stories behind every ornament. There was this deep sense of warmth, love, and anticipation in the house, like anything was possible and the world was a little kinder.
As an adult, I think that’s why Christmas still feels so magical to me. It’s not about the gifts or the traditions as much as it is about that feeling — the nostalgia, the glow, the inner child who still believes in wonder, kindness, and storytelling. That same feeling is what I try to bring into my work now, especially through my films and creative projects.
Christmas reminds me to slow down, to savor moments, to create beauty, and to stay connected to imagination. And I think a part of me has always been chasing that childhood sparkle — not to escape reality, but to keep joy alive inside of it.
