Hi Azita Ariane, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I studied education and we’re helping teenagers with emotional and educational disabilities. Then I made a career change in 1987 and enrolled at Ottis Parsons School of design specializing in the Art of Millinery. . I started with selling to boutiques on Melrose in Los Angeles , then got a show room in California mart and attended trade shows in NewYork . At my first New York show I sold to 3 Nordstrom stores and many specialty boutiques across US. Then in 2000 I opened my first hat shop in Beverly Hills , California. In 2007 I opened my second hat shop on trendy Melrose Ave . We have sold to many celebrities in the movie and music industries. At present I sell only on line .

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
911 in 2001 affected our business and later market crash in 2008 affected our business in a serous way . We were very popular with our collection and customers enjoyed our creativity. Our hats were made on the premises and we had many custom orders .out hats were used in TV productions too .

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
All hats are handmade in USA and we use only natural fiber materials . Our shapes are unique, fun and timeless . we don’t follow other designers , we like to follow our hearts in creating and rarely follow trends . We are proud that we respect our individuality.
