Conversations with Chris “Ralski” Amesquita

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chris “Ralski” Amesquita.

Hi Chris “Ralski”, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I have an eye for the abstract, shapes and colors merged into a body of work that needs to be interpreted. That is how I speak, that is how I create and live my life. Music, art, literature; all aspects of my creativity revolve around the obscurity that I live in and the energy that I absorb. I then turn that into something that I can extrude in a creative way so that others can absorb through my own interpretation. I call it “Panic Art.”

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
For over 25 years, I’ve crossed paths with countless tribes of artists, musicians, and creatives. Some looked to me for direction, while others evolved through collaboration or personal development. Interestingly, each collective seems to have a lifespan of about four years before things unravel—often due to ego, greed, or loss of motivation. When a scene stops inspiring me, I tend to move on.

In 2014, I founded MHNHN (Imagination) as a creative branch of MHRE (Imagery). Before that, I was deeply involved in graphic and web design, as well as photo and video work for both corporate clients and bands. But as technology advanced faster than I could adapt, my focus shifted.

Today, MHNHN continues to serve as a hub for like-minded creators—a space built for something greater than ourselves. Fittingly, my current project is called Undercover Supergroup—or simply US—a collective that thrives on individuality, inclusivity, and the refusal to follow trends.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
EXPERIENCE
Over several decades, I’ve learned to use my passion of creation and networking as a distraction from anxiety and a release of the mania and obsessive thoughts that run through my head daily. The goal is always to obtain a tight community of like minds and passions.

INSPIRATION
There is a fine line between good and bad, and I live on that line. Most of my work is inspired by what I see, hear and feel. It is raw emotion thrust from my brain onto whichever canvas or production that I choose in that moment. Good and bad.

WHAT IS PANIC ART?
My physical health has always dictated my state of mind, and so my “Panic Art” is a way to cleanse my soul from the impurities. I also like to give my audience visuals using expressive video production and of course behind the drums in my cover band.

PHILOSOPHY
“The Struggle is the Glory”

MUSIC
My cover band allows me to inspire what has inspired me. It is a collective unit called the Undercover Supergroup. Or simply, just US.

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
Motivation is one thing; execution is everything. Ideas are everywhere—people are full of them, often backed by knowledge and experience. But having an idea or knowledge doesn’t make anyone “better than” the next person. What truly sets you apart is the actions you take. And remember, for every idea you have, there are hundreds of others chasing something similar. Let that thought keep you humble—and stay focused.

Once you’ve got the idea, decide how far you want to take it. I spent years working a regular 9-to-5 job before retiring, and as time went on, it became harder to balance creativity with everyday life. But those experiences taught me discipline, patience, and perspective—tools that still push me forward today.

You’ll know when your work starts to connect—when people ask questions, show interest, or express genuine appreciation. That’s your signal. That’s when it’s time to make things happen. When demand meets opportunity, don’t hesitate—execute. Because waiting too long can mean watching your best chances pass you by.
