My Story – Viktorija Faith
I started my creative journey in music, long before I knew it would lead me to film. Growing up between cultures, music became my language — the way I learned to connect, heal, and dream. I studied Pop Performance and Composition, performed across Europe, and saw my songs reach international charts and even the Eurovision stage — proof that belief can turn distant dreams into reality.
But in time, I felt called to a wider form of storytelling. With a suitcase and a dream, I travelled to Los Angeles to study acting and filmmaking, discovering how stories can move people beyond words. That experience changed everything. It gave me the courage to turn my emotions into art and my struggles into purpose.
I went on to write, direct, and self-produce my debut feature film This Song’s for You, followed by HOPE — both deeply personal works exploring resilience, identity, and the courage to begin again.
Today, I continue creating through film, music, and storytelling — blending heart, truth, and a deep desire to inspire others. My journey hasn’t been easy, but every setback became part of the story. If my work can remind even one woman to follow her heart and be fearless in her dreams, then it’s all been worth it.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road has been anything but smooth. There were times I couldn’t see the next step — when funding ran out, when rejection letters piled up, or when self-doubt became louder than passion. Working independently as an artist means constantly balancing dreams with reality, and learning to create even when the circumstances aren’t ideal.
But it’s in those difficult chapters that I’ve found my greatest strength. Every obstacle pushed me closer to my truth. I’ve learned that even when the path feels uncertain, the act of creating itself is the reward — it’s what keeps me alive and connected to something bigger than fear.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a filmmaker, director, and singer-songwriter — someone who tells stories through both images and sound. My work lives between film and music, where emotion becomes the language that connects everything I create.
Through my films, I explore themes of identity, resilience, and emotional rebirth. My debut feature This Song’s for You was made entirely independently — self-written, directed, and produced with no budget, just vision and faith. My second feature, HOPE, continues that journey. It’s an intimate, emotional story about healing, self-worth, and the courage to begin again. Both films are deeply personal, inspired by real experiences and the power of transformation.
As a singer-songwriter, my songs have reached international audiences, charted in Lithuania’s Top 20, and appeared on the Eurovision national selection stage 3 times!
What I’m most proud of is creating from truth — staying authentic even when the path wasn’t easy. What sets me apart is that my work comes from lived emotion. Every story and every song carries a part of my life, turned into something others can feel, relate to, and find hope in.
What are your plans for the future?
The next chapter for me is about expansion — creatively and personally. I’m currently finalizing my feature film HOPE and developing a documentary that follows my journey as an independent filmmaker and artist. It’s an honest look at what it really takes to create something from nothing, and how art can become a path to healing and empowerment.
I’m also working on new music that blends cinematic soundscapes with emotional storytelling — songs that reflect everything I’ve lived, learned, and survived. My goal is to eventually combine these worlds through live performances and visual projects that bring film and music together in new ways.
Beyond that, I want to continue inspiring others — especially women — to believe in their creative power and take bold steps toward their dreams. My vision is to build a global creative community rooted in authenticity, courage, and heart.
