Today we’d like to introduce you to Vinh Le.
Hi Vinh, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My parents, who immigrated from Vietnam in 1992, founded the business. Despite not knowing the culture or speaking English, they worked tirelessly, taking on multiple jobs simultaneously, to make it work while raising a family. After saving enough money, they finally opened their own business in 1992. The sacrifices and hard work they made to own their own business are truly commendable. I witnessed my parents’ dedication to providing us with the best life possible. At a young age, they instilled in me the value of hard work, a lesson that has guided me throughout my life. I am proud to be a first-generation graduate with both a bachelor’s and master’s degree, a testament to the sacrifices my parents made for me. I am honored to be the son of an immigrant from Vietnam who sacrificed so much. Remember, you can achieve the American dream.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It wasn’t an easy journey to reach where I am today. I made mistakes in my life, some during college and others later on, but I learned from them and applied those lessons to my future. It’s impossible to live without failure, but from failure, we learn and become more successful in life.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
We are a small family-owned tailoring shop located in the heart of Old Town Tustin. We specialize in alterations, from minor adjustments to major transformations. We understand the importance of feeling fresh and looking good on your special day, whether it’s your wedding or any other significant occasion.
What sets us apart from other tailoring shops is our commitment to treating our clients like family. We believe in providing honest and unbiased opinions, helping you make informed decisions about whether to fix your garment.
How do you think about luck?
.I believe the most fortunate decision I’ve made in my life is to leave corporate and return to take over my family business. I consider that the most significant and impactful decision I’ve ever made.
