My name is Xuanmai “Tina” Vo, and I am the proud owner of Salon Lido in Newport Beach. My journey began with a simple dream—to build a life filled with purpose, beauty, and kindness. When I first came to the U.S., I started with very little, but I carried a strong will to learn, work hard, and never give up. Every step of my success has been earned through dedication, long hours, tears, and the strength to keep going even when life was difficult.
Over the past 19 years, I’ve built Salon Lido into a warm and welcoming space where people can relax, feel confident, and walk out smiling. I believe beauty is not just about appearance—it’s about how we make people feel. My clients have become part of my extended family, and their happiness inspires me every single day.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road hasn’t been smooth, like it isn’t for many small business owners. I’ve faced many challenges—especially in the beginning. When I started Salon Lido, I had to work extra hard to build trust, find loyal clients, and balance everything on my own. There were times I felt exhausted and unsure, but I never gave up. Coming to a new country and starting from nothing taught me to be strong, patient, and grateful for every opportunity. Even during difficult times—like the pandemic or rising costs—I stayed focused on staying positive and taking care of my clients. Their support gave me the strength to keep going. Every struggle became a lesson that made me stronger and wiser. I believe challenges are a part of success—without them, I wouldn’t be the person I am today.

Salon Lido is a place where beauty and heart come together. For more than 19 years, I’ve dedicated myself to helping people feel confident and beautiful. I hold multiple professional licenses—Hairstylist, Barber, Esthetician, Manicurist, and National Massage Therapist—along with many advanced certificates. My broad training allows me to understand beauty and wellness from every angle, so I can provide my clients with complete care. At Salon Lido, I specialize in haircuts, highlights, and color that look natural and elegant. But what truly sets my salon apart is the atmosphere—warm, honest, and personal. Many of my clients have been with me for over 10 to 19 years, discovering my business through 5-star Google reviews and 4.5 star Yelp reviews and I treat each one like family. I am most proud of the trust and loyalty I’ve built with my clients. Salon Lido is not just a business—it’s my life’s work, built with passion, dedication, and love for helping others feel their best.

What matters most to me is kindness, honesty, and making people feel valued. I believe success is not just about money or beauty—it’s about how you treat others and how you make them feel. In my work at Salon Lido, I always focus on giving my clients confidence and comfort. Many of them share their stories and emotions with me, so I try to be not just their hairstylist, but also a good listener and caring friend. I’ve learned that when you put love and sincerity into everything you do, life gives it back to you in beautiful ways. That’s what truly matters to me—doing my work with heart and making a difference in people’s lives.

- Men ‘s haircut : $45 to $50 ( including detailed shaving and relaxing shampoo )
- Women’s haircut : $70 to $80 ( ( including shampoo relaxing )
- Shampoo and style : $65
- Facial : $120 to $250 ( using top professional equipment light therapy and great products )
