I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road — but I think that’s what makes the journey so meaningful.
Moving to a new country, starting over, and trying to build a name in such a competitive industry like film and television has come with many challenges. There were times when I had to balance survival jobs with auditions, or moments of uncertainty when I questioned if I was really being seen.

But those struggles shaped me — they made me more grounded, more authentic, and more connected to my purpose as an actress. I learned to turn rejection into redirection, and pain into creativity. Every “no” taught me something about patience, self-worth, and resilience.

Today, I see every obstacle as part of the story that I get to tell — not just on screen, but through who I am as a woman and as an artist.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m an actress, singer, and multidisciplinary artist originally from Colombia, now based in Los Angeles. My work moves between film, television, and music — everything I do is driven by emotion, storytelling, and truth.

What I’m most proud of is the journey itself — leaving my country, starting from zero, and building a creative career while staying true to my roots. It hasn’t been easy, but I’ve learned that my Latin and Colombian essence is my biggest strength. It gives my work color, rhythm, emotion, and heart.

What sets me apart is that I don’t try to fit into a mold — I bring who I am, fully and unapologetically. My heritage, my culture, and my emotional sensitivity are present in everything I create. I represent the strength and passion of Latin women who keep evolving without losing their authenticity.

For me, acting is not about pretending — it’s about revealing truth, and that truth always comes from my roots.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
One of my favorite childhood memories is going to the movies with my dad in my hometown, Cúcuta, Colombia. He used to take me to this old theater called Cine Avenida. Before the movie, we would always stop for a soft-cream ice cream at a little shop right next to the theater.

I can still remember the smell of the popcorn, the excitement of sitting in those red velvet seats, and the feeling of magic when the lights went down. Those moments with him made me fall in love with cinema — not just as entertainment, but as an experience that touches the heart. Maybe that’s why to this day, I still love soft-cream ice cream and going to the movies. It reminds me of where my passion began.
