Today we’d like to introduce you to Manuel Q Martinez.

Hi Manuel q, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Manuel q Martinez ( Manny ) Hair stylist specializing in Hair color also Custom Hair Extensions. Well I started my carrier as a hair stylist back in 1998 -1999 got my first job in a hair salon as an assistant. At Louie Veloz hair design in the city of San Fernando ca then I started working on commission and eventually build my way up to renting a hair station In 2004 had the opportunity to become a hair educator for a color company did my training with MAKARIZO AND ALFAPARF this is where I did my training and became a hair color specialist. In 2006 I did my training in hair extensions and became a hair extensions specialist In 2017 I meet my husband Luis the love of my life which he’s also a hair stylist we both had the same dream of opening a hair salon so we started working really had and our dream came true in 2018 we had to put all our savings to start the salon also had to used our credit cards to get us started the blessing we have is our clientele the follow us and supported us in coming to get there hair done with us where really supported and because of them we where able to make this dream happen and keep it going until this day HAIR BY MANNY AND LUIS

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been easy when we open the salon we put all our savings in the salon we had to used the credit cards to buy the hair stations there’s blessing we have is that we already had a clientele and thanks to them that they keep coming with us that’s how we where able to get started then 2019 Covid came and that was a struggle too

I’m a hair stylist salon owner specializing in hair color and hair extensions we love making our clients happy and we could also change there life’s

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
Well we think hard work and dedication and been consistent and loving what u do that’s what we call good luck
