Art & Life with Anna Sargsyan

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anna Sargsyan.

Anna, please kick things off for us by telling us about yourself and your journey so far.
I grew up in Yerevan, Armenia and currently live in Los Angeles, California with my supportive husband and 2 boys.

To improve my photography skills. I have started to take photography classes at a Glendale Community College with successful professionals, where I do Visual Art, Photography as an AS degree, and this Spring I will graduate from. I am passionate with what I do and I cannot think of any other job that would bring me so much enjoyment and personal satisfaction. The best part of my job is meeting new people and making new memories and friends.

Can you give our readers some background on your art?
I truly believe that photography is the reflection of my inner self, my feelings and perception of world. It’s not a matter of choice but rather a way of self realization and life. I was born with the love towards photographing and as a child visualized the beauty and how I captured it. Now I use the combination of my sincere love, creativeness and professional tools acquired for many years for producing personalized works of art for others. Also being mom and young lady with full of energy I decided to document every nice moment to keep it as a valuable treasure from our life. Even though I had a tragic period in this last year, the photography was the only way that helped me to find me again and I could get back to this life.

In your view, what is the biggest issue artists have to deal with?
Nowadays everyone has a camera, at least a phone and they can create almost every day. So I told myself – If you want to set yourself apart from the crowd and become a Photographer instead of a photographer, the first thing you do need is style.”

What’s the best way for someone to check out your work and provide support?
I started from my facebook page called Annas Photoart after all my friends recommended me to have an IG account where people can find me and see what I create. So I started to post in my IG account called @annasphotoart, and another one for places @annasplaces. Currently working to have my website as I am working on my portfolio.
