Hi Nora, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What makes you lose track of time—and find yourself again?
I lose track of time when I’m mid-transmission—guiding a client through a hypnosis journey, writing a piece that clicks a truth into place, or recording a podcast episode that carries a frequency people can feel. Hyperfocus takes over and the clock dissolves. I find myself again in the simple rituals: ocean air on my face, redwoods above me, breath slowing until my nervous system remembers safety. That’s my reset—nature, stillness, and the Sacred Observer coming online. As a hypnotherapist and mind alchemist, my work is helping people rewire their inner world; the work I do rewires me too. Lose time in creation, find myself in the field—repeat.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Nora Stefanescu, a board-certified clinical hypnotherapist and creator of Mind Alchemy Lab—where neuroscience meets the sacred to help women rewire their inner world. My work blends hypnosis, NLP, and energy alchemy into experiences that are felt, not just understood: from 60-second ‘micro-resets’ to deep transformational journeys. I serve women—especially the sensitive, driven, and neurodivergent—who are ready to dissolve old programming, reclaim their voice, and create from the calm power of the Sacred Observer.
What makes my approach different is frequency: I translate complex mind-science into simple rituals, precise language, and cinematic, voice-led practices that shift state in minutes. I’ve guided hundreds of clients globally, and I’m currently expanding Mind Alchemy with a growing library of hypnotic journeys, a practical e-book on mental alchemy, and live masterclasses on sleep, focus, and self-trust. At heart, I’m a transmitter—my mission is to help people remember who they are beneath the noise and build a life that resonates with that truth.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
I was the kid who talked to trees, listened to the wind, stared at the night sky, and was out of time. I trusted silence more than noise. I made rituals out of breath and focus before I knew those words. People softened around me. I drew, wrote, and decoded feelings into simple practices like dancing to no music in the middle of my room. I was the kid who could feel the room.
What have been the defining wounds of your life—and how have you healed them?
I was shaped by three core wounds: value, visibility, and vitality, and each became an initiatory doorway.
Value (self-worth & money):
I grew up hearing “you’re nothing,” and it branded my nervous system. For years I undercharged, overgave, and subconsciously apologized for existing. Healing looked like re-parenting my worth: hypnosis to rewrite the script, language-as-frequency to speak value out loud, courageous pricing, and clean boundaries. I built “money self-trust” the slow way: one aligned ask at a time.
Visibility (belonging & voice).
Abandonment imprints made me hide, masking my neurodivergence, performing competence, staying small to stay safe. I healed by unmasking: naming my autism/ADHD gifts, letting the Sacred Observer lead, and choosing rooms (often women-only) where my nervous system could breathe. I practice showing up imperfectly: voice first, polish later.
Vitality (body & survival).
In 2016 my hemoglobin dropped to 2 (normal values are between 12-15). The doctor I saw wondered how I was alive. It was a brush with the edge. That crisis taught me to tune back into my body: iron repletion, deep rest, Kriya yoga, and transcendental meditation. Then in 2020, during a deep 4 hour long meditation my heart “spoke” to me, and that changed everything. Life force is both, physical and spiritual.
There were other teachers: betrayal and overgiving sharpened my discernment; loneliness became solitude; people-pleasing became sovereignty. I didn’t “fix” myself, I alchemized what hurt into medicine. Now my work is the integration: precise words, simple rituals, and hypnosis experiences that help others rewrite their own scripts — value, visibility, vitality— back into wholeness.
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Whose ideas do you rely on most that aren’t your own?
 C. G. Jung opened me as a teenager to the notion of the collective/superconscious and archetypes. From Dr. Joe Dispenza I lean on neuroplasticity and heart–brain coherence. Patanjali and Kriya Yoga give me the mind–body frame: breath, the yamas and niyamas, and disciplined practice that turns insight into embodiment. From Richard Bandler (NLP) I borrow precise patterning of language and state change. Landmark taught me responsibility, integrity, and the power of declarations. And my living teachers are nature (ocean, redwoods) and my clients—their patterns and breakthroughs constantly refine my work. I borrow these lenses but keep only what creates a felt shift quickly; everything else gets released.
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. If immortality were real, what would you build?
In this question my mystical lens sees eternity, while my executive brain wants concrete nouns. Immortality, to me, is continuity. The body is the holder—the vehicle of consciousness—and energy keeps changing form. If I had endless time, I’d devote it to refining the expression of life out of limitation and into liberation. In this body, that looks like building a platform for self-liberation: a digital conservatory where we move from mind prison to the Sacred Observer, and from awareness to daily mind alchemy in minutes. It blends hypnosis, breath, and language-as-frequency into tiny rituals that create felt shifts fast. Over a lifetime—or many—I’d keep polishing one craft: precise words, ever evolving and expanding language, and practices that reliably return people to themselves.”
