Daily Inspiration: Meet LaTasha Marie

Today we’d like to introduce you to LaTasha Marie.

Hi LaTasha, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Euphoria 7 Spa started as a dream fueled by my passion for skincare, self-care, and helping others feel confident in their own skin. I’ve always believed that beauty and wellness go hand in hand, and I wanted to create a space where people could experience both.

My journey into esthetics actually started long before I even realized it — growing up, I watched my mother, who was a cosmetologist. She did it all — hair, nails, waxing, and even facials. Seeing her passion for helping people look and feel beautiful made a big impact on me, even as a little girl. It planted the seed early on that beauty was more than skin deep; it was about connection, confidence, and care.

Later in life, after struggling with my own skin concerns and understanding how much it affected my confidence, I found myself drawn deeper into the world of skincare. I started researching, learning, and eventually decided to officially pursue my license as an esthetician. That decision changed everything for me.

In 2019, I stepped out on faith and enrolled in school while balancing work and family life. It wasn’t easy, but my passion and purpose kept me going. After getting licensed, I knew I didn’t just want to work under someone else’s brand — I wanted to create my own. A place that felt personal, professional, and empowering.

That’s when Euphoria 7 Spa was born. Self-funded, built with prayer, hard work, and a clear vision, I created a spa experience that’s not just about services, but about healing, restoring confidence, and creating a peaceful escape for every client.

Today, Euphoria 7 Spa stands as a reflection of my journey — a beautiful blend of my upbringing, my experiences, and my passion for helping others love the skin they’re in.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road — but every bump along the way taught me something valuable. When I first decided to become an esthetician and open Euphoria 7 Spa, I was balancing a lot: being a mother, working, going to school, and trying to build a brand from scratch. There were times when I questioned if I was doing the right thing because the sacrifices felt heavy.

Financially, it was tough too. I self-funded everything, which meant making a lot of personal sacrifices to invest in my education, equipment, and building a space I could be proud of. There were moments of doubt, especially when I compared myself to others who seemed to have more resources or support.

Another challenge was learning how to run a business — not just providing services, but handling marketing, booking systems, inventory, taxes, client retention — all things they don’t always teach you in school. I had to learn a lot through trial and error, staying up late doing research, asking questions, and sometimes making mistakes along the way.

But through it all, my faith, my passion for helping others, and the support of my family kept me moving forward. Every challenge made me stronger, more knowledgeable, and more determined to succeed.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
At Euphoria 7 Spa, I specialize in customized skincare treatments designed to help women and men feel confident, refreshed, and beautiful in their own skin. I offer a range of services including facials, microneedling, waxing, vajacials, lash lifts, brow services, LED light therapy, and more. My focus is always on results-driven treatments combined with a relaxing, welcoming experience.

One thing I’m known for is creating personalized skincare routines for clients dealing with real concerns like acne, hyperpigmentation, aging, or sensitive skin conditions like rosacea and eczema. I don’t believe in a “one-size-fits-all” approach — every service is tailored to the individual, their skin type, and their goals.

One of the moments I’m most proud of is Euphoria 7 Spa being nominated as the Best Day Spa in Florissant, MO. That recognition means so much because it reflects the love, care, and hard work that goes into everything I do for my clients. I’m also proud to share that as of July this year, I’ve landed a deal with The Grand Marriott Hotel in Downtown St. Louis — another exciting step forward for Euphoria 7 Spa!

What truly sets me apart is the level of genuine care and connection I have with the people I serve. I understand that beauty is personal, and trust is everything. I combine professional expertise with a personal touch, making sure that every person who walks through my doors feels valued, respected, and beautiful — inside and out.

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
One of my favorite childhood memories — hands down — is anything involving family time, especially going fishing with my dad. I had my own little fishing pole, my own tackle box — I was official! Only thing was… I didn’t do worms. Nope, not me. My dad always had to put the worms on the hook for me like the real MVP he was.

One day, my mom decided she was gonna tag along. Now, let me tell you — my momma is a real country girl, born and raised in Mississippi, grew up on a farm, knows all about fishing, hunting, farming — you name it. But this day? This day… I don’t know what my momma was thinking.

I had just caught a fish and was feeling like a little fishing pro, digging through my tackle box for my next move, when all of a sudden, I felt a tug at the back of my shorts. Next thing I know — my momma had HOOKED me! Right in the booty with her fishing pole!

I took off running across that pond bank like my life depended on it, with a fishing pole wiggling and bouncing behind me, hooked right into my shorts! I was crying, screaming for my daddy like he was Superman. Meanwhile, my dad had wandered off to fish on the other side, so he had to come sprinting back when he heard the commotion.

But catch me? He couldn’t. I was gone. So he did the next best thing — he stomped on the pole to stop me. I’ll never forget the sight of my momma on the other side of the pond, bent over laughing so hard her face turned beet red.

My daddy scooped me up and carried me back to the truck. As I wiped my tears and tried to catch my breath, I looked up at him all serious and said, “I told you, you should’ve left her at home.”

To this day, we STILL laugh about that story. I’m still not sure what my momma was trying to catch that day — me or a fish — but either way, she definitely caught something!
