Today we’d like to introduce you to Natalie Nora.
Hi Natalie, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started a social media fashion account during a time in my life when I needed something that was just mine. I was a mom, a wife, a full-time educator, and somewhere along the way, I lost touch with who I was outside of those roles. I’ve always loved fashion and beauty, so I started posting outfit photos as a creative outlet. What began as a small side hobby quickly became something bigger.
I had no idea that snapping photos in my backyard would lead to brand collaborations, podcast interviews, and opportunities to attend and host content creator events in Los Angeles. Along the way, I’ve built a community of people who resonate with my style, my humor, and my journey.
“Glam Girl Natalie” isn’t just about clothes or makeup – it’s about confidence, reinvention, and showing up authentically. I’m proud of how far it’s come and excited for what’s next.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Definitely not a smooth road, but I think that’s what’s made the journey meaningful.
Balancing content creation with being a full-time educator and a mom of two has been challenging. There were moments I questioned if I was doing enough, growing fast enough, or even if I belonged in the influencer space. The algorithm can be unforgiving, and imposter syndrome is real, especially when you’re constantly putting yourself out there for the world to see.
But the biggest struggle has been internal. I started this journey when I was at one of my lowest points emotionally. Creating content was my way of reconnecting with myself – of reclaiming my identity. I kept showing up, even on the hard days.
Those struggles taught me resilience. They reminded me that progress doesn’t always look like numbers or followers – it looks like pushing through doubt, embracing growth, and continuing to bet on yourself.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m a content creator, social media strategist, and the face behind “Glam Girl Natalie” a fashion and beauty platform that blends style with storytelling. I specialize in affordable, trend-forward fashion that’s accessible and fun. From try-on hauls and GRWM videos to humorous voiceovers and cinematic reels, my content is rooted in authenticity and emotion.
What sets me apart is that I don’t just post to sell a product. I share my mood, my mindset, and my message. I bring a psychological lens to my content, exploring themes like confidence, identity, and transformation, often through creative short films and deeply personal storytelling. My audience connects with the *why* behind the looks.
I’m most proud of the community I’ve built and the fact that I’ve turned a personal creative outlet into real-world opportunities such as collaborating with major brands, hosting influencer workshops, and even writing, directing, and starring in my own short film.
At the heart of it all, Glam Girl is about more than style – it’s about self-expression, resilience, and the courage to evolve in public.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The most important lesson I’ve learned is to stop waiting for permission.
When I started Glam Girl Natalie, I had no roadmap, just passion and a phone. I realized that if I kept waiting for someone to tell me I was ready, I’d never start. So I hit “post,” even when I felt unsure. I showed up before I felt confident. And that’s where the growth happened.
I’ve learned that you don’t need to be perfect, you just need to be consistent and authentic. Every misstep, every pivot, every low-engagement post taught me something valuable. And the more I embraced who I really am, flaws and all, the more my audience connected.
It’s easy to compare yourself in this industry, but the real magic happens when you stay in your own lane and lead with heart.
