Rising Stars: Meet De’Andre Wright of Los Angeles

Today we’d like to introduce you to De’Andre Wright.

Hi De’Andre , thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Well I was about 12 or 13 when I first picked up a camera. I really enjoyed capturing moments. I enjoyed the candid nature of life around me so I took to it . Fast forward years later I was doing photography in New York . I got to capture awesome photos of people, places and things .. you know ..nouns. lol
I was presented with opportunities that I would’ve never imagined shooting people I only saw on tv or heard on the radio!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s funny because . I’d say yes it was smooth but it also hasn’t really felt like anything other than me having fun with what I do . Some of the struggles I had is just trying to take all the crazy and awesome ideas in my head and recreating them.

I’m a photographer. I specialize in all kinds of art. I’m a huge fan of candid photography. Even though I’ve done graduations , weddings ,concerts , drag shows , balls ,ext . I just Love catching people in the moment living life and having fun . I’m proud of the connections I’ve made , through those my skills have been seen by some huge names . I even shot some huge names before. What sets me apart from others is my ability to make it happen without having to break my back to get it. I enjoy what I do because nothing is forced .

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
My family makes me happy . They just have a kind of support that’s unmatched . If they are proud of what I’m doing then I’m good. Ima simply guy . It doesn’t take much .
