Check Out Danielle Lopez’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Danielle Lopez.

Hi Danielle , so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
When I was a little girl, I was introduced to the world of fitness through watching my dad. He was a body builder and always stayed in shape! (even to this day- he’s in his 60’s and looks incredible)
By the time I got to high school my boyfriend (now husband) and I would go to the gym with my dad everyday in the afternoons & on sometimes would train at our school gym.
I fell in love with fitness and the fact that it’s a “YOU” sport. No one can do it for you. No one can eat for you or show up to the gym for you. It’s a reflection of your hard work.
At the age of 18, I entered my first body building show and placed! It was addicting and so exciting!
I began coaching women on the side of my day job, I would go to parks, have people come to my house etc.
I started seeing some incredible transformations & knew I wanted to make a career out of personal coaching.
I was working 4 jobs trying to pay for my shows (they were so expensive!)
By age 24, I had become a full time coach! I took the plunge & quit my job, hustled to build my name & business from the ground up! I started paying rent at a gym so I can run my business through it, & started getting so many amazing transformations I actually had a waitlist of two years. I still can’t believe it: After having my kids, going through postpartum & rehabilitation I was able to get my core strong again & set an example to other mamas who feel discouraged after giving birth.

I’m very blessed, humbled & thankful to God for bringing the perfect team to me, always hand picking my clients it felt like. I have been fortunate to build relationships that will last a lifetime with people who started as clients & have become family. I’ve had the same clients for years, which is always such a sweet compliment to me. I love what I do, I love my team & I’m thankful to do what I love everyday.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Struggles with being your own business owner, while having your own place to pay, was always a tough road because there is no space for failure, or giving up. I used to walk around neighborhoods, malls etc & pass out my cards. I felt so annoying but I knew I had to constantly hustle if I was going to quit my job & depend on myself.

It’s been a crazy beautiful road.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a mom, wife & business owner of 3 businesses-
I am the most proud of balancing my work life & personal life. I care deeply about my clients & being there for them. If really take pride in the type of personal coach I am, with being present & actually caring about my team.
I feel that love & care / passion is hard to find in a coach sometimes. In return I get to see my team reach amazing fitness goals, transformations, & I see their self confidence grow so much it never gets old for me! Over 10 years experience & I never get tired of seeing my girls faces when they see their transformations!

I also volunteer with children, which isn’t my job BUT it’s something I’m proud of because I felt God put this in my heart for a reason & I have a passion for helping & just spreading Gods love.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
Core memory, I feel like I have so many. My mom & dad were the absolute best parents, gave me a childhood of fun & laughter.
One of my favorite memories is being with my family, driving to the beach listening to music & signing & dancing with my parents.
They made drives so fun. I’ll never forget that. Vacations, talks with my parents, all the deep talks, laughter & advice. It’s all with me forever.
