Today we’d like to introduce you to Angela Barnett Williams.
Angela, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Thank you for this incredible honor to share my story. My journey to founding 100 Healthy Women and becoming a holistic nutritionist and advocate for women’s wellness is deeply personal, born from a season of profound challenge and transformation that reshaped my life and purpose.
My awakening began in the aftermath of a divorce after 25 years of marriage, a loss that plunged me into guilt, shame, and uncertainty. That emotional storm re-triggered my autoimmune disease, alopecia, and I found myself at a crossroads. It was a wake-up call. A moment when I knew I had to reclaim my health and spirit. I turned to the power of nutrition, exercise (especially yoga), meditation, and holistic wellness, discovering not just healing, but a sense of agency. I learned that food is medicine, that movement and mindfulness can restore balance and ease within my body, and that our bodies are resilient vessels capable of vibrancy when we nourish body, mind, and spirit.
As a mom of three adult children navigating empty-nest life, I channeled this transformation into a mission to guide other women toward their own paths to longevity and empowerment. I am working on my holistic nutritionist certification, specializing in helping women address limiting beliefs, chronic pain, hormone imbalances, menopause, and weight concerns through intuitive eating and sustainable practices. But I knew my work needed to go beyond one-on-one coaching; I wanted to build a movement.
In March 2024, that vision came to life with 100 Healthy Women, a Web3-based, community-owned health and wellness network. I saw digital innovation as a way to create a safe, empowering space where women could heal, learn, and lead. Our motto is “100 Healthy Women Organized The Right Way Can Heal The World” and it reflects our belief that collective action, rooted in wellness and wisdom, can transform lives.
The 100 Healthy Women Summit in Los Angeles was a defining moment, where influencers, visionaries, and everyday women rallied around our mission. It wasn’t just an event, it was a declaration of purpose. We established the 100 Genesis Members, a group of passionate women who guide our community’s growth and uphold our values. Today, 100 Healthy Women is a thriving community that will soon be a DAO with a utility token economy, bridging digital and physical worlds to make holistic wellness accessible for women everywhere.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
This journey hasn’t been easy, from navigating personal loss to building what I envision a global community, but every step has been worth it. As a novice in the world of NFTs, cryptocurrency, and tokenization, I had to thrust myself into learning everything I could, leaning heavily on my husband’s guidance to navigate this complex digital landscape. I often felt alone, unprepared, and uncertain if I was heading in the right direction or if people would embrace the concept of a Web3-based wellness community. Building 100 Healthy Women with little to no resources in such a turbulent environment was incredibly challenging, testing my resilience at every turn. Yet, I’m still learning, growing alongside the women I serve. My hope is that 100 Healthy Women becomes a legacy of healing, advocacy and empowerment proving that when women come together with purpose, we can indeed heal the world.
We’ve been impressed with 100 Healthy Women, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
What We Do and Specialize In:
At 100 Healthy Women, we specialize in holistic wellness, health advocacy, community ownership & leadership and community-driven empowerment. We educate women about the dangers of processed foods, a sedentary lifestyle, synthetic chemicals, heavy metals, hormone disruptors, and environmental toxins that impact health and longevity, offering tools like nutritional therapies, online workshops and cohorts, in-person meet-ups and sustainable practices to foster longevity.
What Sets Us Apart:
What makes 100 Healthy Women truly unique is our bold integration of Web3 technology with holistic wellness. We leverage NFTs, DAOs, and utility tokens to create a community where members don’t just participate, they own, govern, and grow with us.
Our NFT membership unlocks token-gated benefits, including access to premium content, community governance through our DAO, and a real stake in the direction of our ecosystem. This ensures every woman in our network is not just included but empowered.
We’ve built a digital sanctuary, a vibrant, safe space for collaboration, healing, and leadership. Here, women access transformative education, immersive workshops, and exclusive content while building lasting connections in a deeply supportive environment.
This fusion of cutting-edge technology with ancestral wisdom and community-driven healing sets us apart from traditional wellness organizations.
What We’re Most Proud Of, Brand-Wise:
I am immensely proud of being the visionary founder of a movement that is not only disrupting the wellness industry, but redefining what it means to heal, lead, and build in community. I’m incredibly proud of how our brand embodies empowerment and innovation. The launch of the 100 Healthy Women Summit in Los Angeles in 2024 was a defining moment, bringing together influencers, visionaries, and everyday women to declare our purpose. Establishing the 100 Genesis Members, a group of passionate women guiding our growth, has been a cornerstone of our brand’s strength. Building this community as a novice in the NFT and cryptocurrency world, with my husband’s guidance, was daunting, I often felt alone and uncertain if people would embrace the concept.
What We Want Readers to Know About Our Offerings:
That we are less a brand… than we are a network. Our network of Health & Wellness Practitioners and Enthusiasts and Evangelists, subscribe to our core principals around holistic health, community, nutrient dense foods and natural medicine. We ACTIVELY support Health & Wellness entrepreneurs, practitioners and platforms who share our outlook.
Most of all, I want readers to know that 100 Healthy Women, Organized The Right Way, Can Heal The World!
Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
I’d love to leave your readers with a reflection that’s been at the heart of my journey and 100 Healthy Women’s mission: You are your own healer. And healing is not a solitary act; it’s a ripple effect. When one woman takes a step toward wellness, whether through nutrition, yoga, or simply finding a community that lifts her up, she creates waves of change that touch her family, her friends, and the world around her. That’s the essence of our motto, “100 Healthy Women Organized The Right Way Can Heal The World,” and it’s what fuels me every day.
At 100 Healthy Women, we believe healing is your birthright, not a luxury. It doesn’t belong to systems, corporations, or institutions. It begins with awareness, deepens with community, and becomes unstoppable when we reclaim our power, together.
We are more than a health and wellness brand. We are a movement of conscious women leading a revolution in how we care for ourselves, our families, and our planet. Through the power of Web3, we’re building a new model where community is the currency, and wellness is the wealth. Finally, I’d like to invite every woman reading this to join our movement. Whether you’re in Los Angeles, or across the globe, 100 Healthy Women is a space for you to heal, lead, and belong.
