

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bhavesh Patel.
Hi Bhavesh, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Julio’s Pizza was owned and operated by Julio Schembari since 1959 till 2001. As a child I remembered patronizing the restaurant all the time. My partner and I got the opportunity to acquire the restaurant in 2003. We were trained by the original owner to operate the restaurant uphold the legacy he created. To this day, I’m still involved in the day-to-day operations. Our current restaurant is 8000 square feet including our Banquet Hall fit to serve upto 200 guests. We have a full bar and lounge as well.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
We’ve had many accomplishments as well as challenges. On of our bigger challenges was having to move locations. We’ve changed locations due to high rent twice since we took ownership. We increased our success once we moved to the location with the Banquet Hall as we were able to serve a larger amount of guests.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
We specialize in Thin Crust, gourmet pizzas. We make everything in house from scratch and offer a lot of unique appetizers such as our Masala Wings, Masala Stuffed Mushrooms, and our delicious Chicken Samosas. We also make a tasty “Hot Sauce” which is essentially a spicy marinara to help our spice fanatics truly enjoy our food. A lot of our guests love our Ranch which we make from scratch in house and keep preservative free.
What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
We believe in keeping our quality high, taking care of our guests and building relations that last for generations.
