Daily Inspiration: Meet Tsova And Asha

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tsova And Asha.

Hi Tsova and Asha, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
LA Empower was born out of one of the darkest times in our lives. We were both going through deeply painful, personal experiences—freshly single moms, overwhelmed, and just trying to survive. Even though we had friends and family, no one really understood what we were truly going through.

Then, by complete accident, we found each other through Instagram. We stumbled upon each other’s videos and started talking. Little by little, we opened up and realized we were living parallel experiences. It was such a relief to finally feel seen and understood. That connection gave us the strength to keep going.

After a few conversations, we decided to meet—in the parking lot of our kids’ soccer club. That moment was special. That parking lot became the place where our dream was born. We thought, “If we could support each other through our pain, imagine how many other women we could help.”

That moment sparked our healing journey. We started trying new things—Mad Girl Run, boxing, hiking, cycling, exploring new places—and each activity helped us reconnect with ourselves. It gave us confidence, self-love, and a reminder that life isn’t over after hardship. In fact, it was just beginning again.

And that’s what LA Empower stands for. It’s not just a community—it’s a movement. A safe space where women can be themselves, by themselves, and for themselves. We want to be that place where women are encouraged to heal, grow, have fun, and try new things—even if it’s just once—because life is beautiful and full of opportunities.

Too often we hold ourselves back because of mindset, fear, circumstances, or even laziness. But we believe that every woman deserves to experience all the good and beautiful things this life has to offer. So through LA Empower, we push each other to show up, say yes, and live life to the fullest—together.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Not at all—it’s been far from a smooth road. LA Empower was born out of personal pain, and building something meaningful while healing ourselves has come with a lot of challenges.

In the beginning, almost no one truly understood the purpose of our community. Even now, there are still people who don’t fully get it. Some thought it was “just another women’s group” or didn’t see the value in what we were doing. But that’s because the heart of LA Empower isn’t something flashy—it’s something real. Our purpose is simple but powerful: to help women enjoy life fully, no matter their circumstances.

We were both freshly single moms, navigating emotional trauma, financial struggles, and identity loss. While going through all that, we chose to show up for ourselves—trying new things, healing, encouraging each other—and we wanted to create that same space for other women. But doing that while still healing wasn’t easy. We didn’t have a blueprint. We had to figure out everything from scratch—how to host events, connect with women, create safe spaces, and show up even when we were struggling too.

And on top of all that, we had to deal with judgment and misunderstanding. But we kept going, because we knew the value. We knew how life-changing it is to have a space where you feel seen, loved, and free to be yourself.

At the core of LA Empower is this belief: when a woman loves herself, respects herself, and puts herself first, the world starts to reflect that back to her. We want every woman to feel that. That’s what keeps us going—even when the road is hard.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
We specialize in creating real-life experiences, events, and adventures that push women out of their comfort zones—in the best way. From boxing and hiking to cycling, creative classes, and deep conversations, we curate moments that make women feel alive, seen, and supported. We’ve built a space where women come not just to meet others, but to meet themselves again.

What sets us apart is that we’re not just a community—we’re a movement built from raw, real-life experiences. We didn’t start this from a perfect place. We started it at our lowest. And that’s exactly why it works. Everything we offer comes from lived truth. We know what heartbreak feels like. We know how hard it is to show up when you’re exhausted, confused, and rebuilding. So we lead with empathy, not ego. Authenticity is our foundation.

We’re most proud of the lives we’ve already touched—the women who told us they felt seen for the first time, the ones who found new strength, or dared to try something they never thought they could. We’re proud that we’ve created a space where women show up as they are—and leave feeling empowered, inspired, and loved.

Our slogan could easily be: “Try everything at least once.” Because life is too beautiful and too short to stay stuck. At LA Empower, we help women remember that.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
What we love most about LA is the energy—there’s always something happening, so many cultures, creative people, and opportunities to grow, connect, and explore. You can be anyone here.

What we like least is how isolating it can sometimes feel, despite being so big and full of people. It’s easy to feel alone in a crowd—which is exactly why we built LA Empower: to create real, meaningful connection in the middle of it all.
