Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started SCVparentguide because there wasn’t another page at the time highlighting everything that Santa Clarita offers for
Families. It is such a great place to raise a family and I wanted to showcase that!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s been hard for me to find balance in my life, since I’ve started taking my Instagram more seriously.
I’m juggling homeschooling, a toddler, 2 school aged kids, an apparel company that is bringing awareness to veterans mental health, taking care of the house and responsibilities that come with being a stay at home mom. I struggle with finding the time to be creative and research new happenings, and family friendly businesses in Santa Clarita.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
My goal for ScvParentGuide is to make life easier for parents to find the “hidden gems,” of the Santa Clarita Valley. There are so many programs, resources, parks, restaurants and opportunities for families to thrive here. My page highlights these things, I take the time to find them, so you don’t have to!
My page is set apart from others because I truly care and want everyone to succeed.
Whether that be in your personal, or professional life, I want to be a source of support and encouragement for the community. I want everyone to win!
I’m very proud of the growth my page has had in its first year, and I’m excited to see what this year has in store.
