Hi Hasaan, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Hasaan White aka Freezetoocold
I was born September 29, 1997 in West Los Angeles California. I’ve always been an entertainer since a young boy, I would walk around trying to rap before I could put words together. Music runs in my family as well from gospel to hiphop rnb pop I grew up around music and artist in my family.By my 10th or 11th grade year in highschool I formed a group with 3 friends of mine and we would perform at school at parties and I’ve been grinding ever since. After graduation we all went on with our lives but music was and has always been my life and today I have a huge catelog I’ve just sold out my first show ever this year so I’m starting to make noise in my city.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has not at all been a smooth road it’s a bumpy road but it’s worth the drive because I live what I do. I’ve been homeless multiple times and had to put music on the back burner and working different jobs maintaining life. But nothing can take or keep me away from the booth NOTHING.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a rapper/Singer and I am a great story teller. I can make a song in any genre I want and I also challenge myself to step outside the box to keep my skills sharp and not be boxed into one category or “type beat”. One of my most proud moments was March 14,2025 I sold out my first independent show that some friends and artist put on and it just made me believe even more that I am a star.
The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
I was working during Covid nothing stopped me from getting in the studio. I actually became more busy than ever so I would say that Covid taught me to roll with the punches and keep going no matter what.
