Check Out Jill Froch’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jill Froch.

Hi Jill , thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
From the time I was a little girl, I was an organizing junkie. My mom was not very tidy, so by the age of 10, I was reorganizing all the closets and pantries in our family home.

Fast forward to when my children reached high school, I began delving into home design and professional organizing. I have always believed that our physical spaces profoundly impact our mental clarity, productivity, and overall well-being, and I love creating that sense of order and ease for others in their homes.

CleanSlate Los Angeles was born from this belief—an intention to help people reset their spaces and, in turn, their lives. What started as assisting friends and family with decluttering and home organization quickly grew into a full-fledged business offering everything from customized organizing solutions to white-glove moving services.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of helping clients navigate life transitions, whether downsizing, moving into a new home, or simply reclaiming control over their spaces. My approach is not just about tidying up; it is about creating sustainable systems that support a more intentional and stress-free lifestyle.

Today, CleanSlate Los Angeles continues to evolve, but the mission remains the same: to provide clients with a fresh start, a clean slate, and a beautifully organized space that aligns with their lives.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I believe that nothing in life is a smooth road—it is the bumps along the way that teach us how to grow, adapt, and bring our vision to life. I had to teach myself the business side of running a company and learn to ask for help. The creative side of organizing comes naturally to me.

Ask me to fill in an Excel spreadsheet, and I’m out. But give me a home filled with my client’s life, and I can help them sort through what they need, what they want to hold onto, and place everything exactly where it belongs.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m known for truly honing in on each client’s unique needs. I believe that everyone is different, requiring personalized systems to stay organized. I feel incredibly fortunate that my clients stay with me for years—it’s a testament to the trust we build and the results we create together.

What sets my company apart from other organizing services is the design flair I bring to every home. With a background in design, I not only create functional spaces but also ensure they are beautiful and seamlessly integrated into my clients’ lifestyles.

There is no one-size-fits-all solution when it comes to organizing. Each client is unique, and I take the time to listen, understand their needs, and help them create systems that truly work for them.

While I specialize in all aspects of home organization, my true expertise lies in helping clients transition from one home to another. Whether they are upsizing, downsizing, or simply starting fresh, I guide them through the process, sometimes clearing out decades of belongings, purging what no longer serves them, and reorganizing for their next chapter. My team and I handle everything, from packing to unpacking, ensuring every item is thoughtfully placed and systems are established to maintain their newly organized space. It’s incredibly rewarding to create a fresh start for my clients, and I love every step of the process.

What matters most to you? Why?
What matters most to me is my family. I have two adult children who are my world—my daughter, who is living her dreams on the East Coast, and my son, who is here in Los Angeles.

Because of my deep love for family, what began as a way to use my natural talents quickly became a way to connect with others and build a sense of family beyond my own.

One of my favorite things to do for clients is create curated memory boxes for each member of the family. No matter how young or old, saving small moments—whether it is a child’s first drawing, a handwritten letter, or a ticket stub from a meaningful event—creates a tangible connection to the past. These boxes become a powerful reminder of the love, experiences, and milestones that shape a family’s story. In a world that moves so fast, having a dedicated place to honor these memories is something truly special.

My clients are not just customers; they become part of my extended community, and helping them preserve their most cherished moments is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.
