Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexes Correa (aka SitchChick).

Hi Alexes, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
As a stay-at-home mom, I was looking for an outlet to express my interests in celebrity news and hot topics while still being able to focus on my daughter. I knew I wanted to produce short-form content where it was easy for people to quickly watch and gather information about celebrities and hot topics. As a mom, it’s hard to give a lot of time to content that’s over 3 minutes when you’re on the go. I created SitchChick for people to stay in the know on the go.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Sometimes I struggle with getting followers from content that goes viral. Which is understandable because a lot of times people will like a video and keep it scrolling, However, I keep the faith that my people will find me and I’ll gain more genuine followers by simply doing what I love.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am known for incorporating memes and gifs into my content about celebrity news and hot topics. I enjoy making people laugh and find adding a funny meme or gif to a news story makes the content more enjoyable.

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
Watching Disney Channel Original Movies like they were cinematic masterpieces nominated for Academy Awards. I took my Disney movies very seriously and it’s how I became interested in celebrities because I wanted to know who played the characters.
