Conversations with Alonzo Wright

Today we’re excited to be connecting with Alonzo Wright again. If you haven’t already, we suggest you check out our prior conversation with them here.

Alonzo, always such a pleasure connecting with you and thank you for sharing your stories, insights and inspiring messages with our community. We’re looking forward to getting the download and what you have been up to since our last interview, but first can you briefly introduce yourself to folks who might have missed the prior conversation.
Thanks for having me again! For those who don’t know me, I’m Alonzo Wright. I’m an artist and creator passionate about using creativity to uplift and inspire. My journey started with a strong foundation of self-confidence, thanks to my mom, and a focus on honing my talents from an early age. Over the years, I’ve blended my love for the arts with my faith, working to create content that feeds the soul and encourages people to reflect on their purpose.

Leaning on resilience, faith, and a passion for continuous learning has been my way forward. I hope to inspire others to embrace their unique gifts and share their stories in ways that bring light and purpose to the world.

Great, so let’s jump into an update on what you have been up to since we last spoke. What can you share with us?
Thanks for asking—it’s been an exciting and transformative time since our last conversation! The most significant milestone has been publishing my first book, The Writing’s on the Wall, now available on Amazon. It’s a profoundly personal project reflecting my journey of faith, creativity, and growth, and I’m thrilled to see how it resonates with readers. Hearing feedback from people who’ve connected with the book has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.

In addition to the book, I’ve been laying the groundwork for a guided journal series that integrates faith and reflection, helping people explore their own stories. Expanding into this space has been a fulfilling challenge, but the creative process and the potential impact make it all worthwhile.

Looking ahead, I’m excited to share that I’m also working on an upcoming title with Trilogy Publishing, a subsidiary of TBN. While it’s still in the works, I look forward to sharing more details as it all comes together. This project feels like a natural next step, and I can’t wait to see how it unfolds.

Of course, the journey hasn’t been without its challenges. Balancing creativity with logistics is always tricky, but those moments of uncertainty have been great opportunities to rely on faith and resilience. On the bright side, I’ve had the chance to collaborate with incredible people who share a passion for meaningful, soul-nourishing content.

Between the book, the journal series, and these upcoming projects, I’m focused on creating tools and spaces where creativity and connection thrive. It’s all about encouraging others to embrace their gifts and achieve their purpose.
