Hi Atul, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
As a kid, I have gone through a lot of struggle while earing some respect from my peers and friends, I used to be a jolly kid who loved his imaginary world but the outside world teased me a lot for this. Then my best friend introduce dance to me. I started dancing which turned my personality upside down. People started like me because of my skill and finally I got some respect. After 1 or 2 years, I started learn about Hip Hop, As I started dancing but didn’t know about the Hip Hop dance style. When I learnt about Hip Hop as a whole different culture and the elements, it just changed my life forever. It changed my perspective towards life. I can’t explain the feeling, it was like I got me, I finally got to know who really I am. I explored all the Hip Hop elements, from them Rap got me completely. I started read about the OG rappers then got to learn how the culture made. How a single block party by Dj Kool Herc changed everything. I decided to do something to promote Hip Hop culture at my hood then me, Gold E & Dj Crown started Jamfam which is the abbreviation of Jamming Family in Jan 2021. The first ever Rap cypher and battle jam in our side. later on, I started making knowledgeable hip hop content on Instagram in my language to spread my knowledge ever further

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Smooth roads never make skilled drivers. We faced a lot of struggle during this journey. First of all this very new thing of us and for our people. We started by organizing Jamfam at Street Dance academy, the academy is owned by our friend Divesh bhai. Who has been very supportive with us since day 1. He gave his space for free and we got only approx 20 -30 people in that jam, But the vibe on that jam was out of roof. On that particular moment we knew that we have started a big thing.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am Motion graphic artist, an emcee and music video director. I make videos, music videos, do the script, schedule the shoot, get the shoot done and edit. I specialize in visual arts.

People knows me for my music video works and the work that I do for Jamfam page. The voice that you hear on the reels is mine.

I am proud of whatever me & Gold E have made. whether it’s our music videos or our page, we have worked with bottom of our heart and we also enjoyed it. It’s more of like breathing, it reminds us that we are alive.

Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
