Today we’d like to introduce you to Jesse Lavie
Jesse, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I remember being a child and helping my dad with construction, carpentry, kitchens, and painting—he had his own company, and I was always by his side, learning.
At 18, I joined the military, where I spent several years developing discipline, courage, and persistence.
In 1999, I decided to move to the U.S. in search of greater opportunities. I knew I wanted to run my own construction company, but I also knew I needed more experience. So, I worked for a construction company while getting my education at Pierce College. Over the next few years, I learned everything I could before finally launching my own business—CAS, which originally stood for Concrete and Asphalt Specialists.
We started with jobs like repaving 7-Eleven parking lots and working on Edison Company parking lots. Over time, we serviced more than 300 businesses—maybe even more. Then, we got a huge opportunity. A client asked if we could take on larger projects and if I had my general contractor’s license. At that point, I went back to the drawing board, got my GC license, and from then on, we expanded into commercial projects, multi-residential developments, and high-end custom homes.
Growing up in a small town with limited funds and resources to now building multi-million dollar homes and buildings has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Nothing in life comes easy. There were a lot of bumps in the road, but nothing could stop us. My team and I learned from our mistakes, always focused on improving, and kept moving forward.
Now, after 22 years of experience, I can confidently say—no obstacle is too big.

CAS is a General Contracting firm that specializes in new construction and full renovations for commercial, industrial, residential, and multi-residential properties.
What really sets us apart is our unwavering dedication to delivering excellent customer service, no matter how tough the job. We go above and beyond for our clients, and we pride ourselves on being transparent and trustworthy throughout the process. Unfortunately, honesty has become a rarity in this industry, but for me, integrity is everything.
My mission is to change the way people see construction—to set a new standard.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
First and foremost, my father. He taught me discipline, hard work, and the importance of getting up every morning with purpose. I am who I am because of him.
During one of the most challenging times in my life, I had a mentor who introduced me to one of my first major opportunities. He saw something in me, took me under his wing, and was the reason I secured my first master agreement deal with 7-Eleven. Unfortunately, he has since passed away, but his name was Abraham, and he will always be one of my greatest heroes.
And of course, my family and my incredible team—who have my back every single day.
