Today we’d like to introduce you to Isabelle Cloud
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started my journey in real estate while studying at Malmö University, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate Science. My early experiences in the field helped me develop a passion for guiding people through the complexities of real estate transactions.
Right after graduation, I decided to take the leap and start my own real estate business in Stockholm. I built it from the ground up and quickly became the number one-rated broker in my area. As my business grew, I expanded my portfolio and deepened my understanding of the industry.
As I developed my expertise in real estate, I transitioned into the investment space, working as a Director at Nathan Family Office in Beverly Hills. There, I have been involved in projects across real estate, venture capital, and alternative investment classes. This experience led me to my current role as a Partner at Expert Dojo, the VC arm of Nathan Family Office, where I oversee LP communication, quarterly reporting, portfolio growth, and internal fundraising.
Throughout my career, I have focused on providing strategic support to startups, building strong relationships with investors, and leveraging my background in both real estate and venture capital to drive growth.
My journey has been shaped by a commitment to continuous learning and an unwavering passion for helping businesses and individuals succeed in the ever-evolving investment landscape.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My journey has been rewarding, but it hasn’t always been a smooth road. Starting my own real estate business at a young age came with its challenges. I had to build credibility in a competitive market where experience often outweighs ambition. Gaining the trust of high-net-worth clients required persistence, exceptional results, and a strong reputation, which I worked tirelessly to establish.
Transitioning from real estate into the investment space was another hurdle. Moving from a transactional business to long-term portfolio management and venture capital investments required a shift in mindset, new skills, and an expanded network. Learning the intricacies of venture funding, LP communications, and fund structuring while proving my value in a male-dominated industry was both challenging and motivating.
On top of that, navigating the fast-paced world of venture capital has required adaptability. Startups face constant challenges, and supporting founders through market downturns, fundraising struggles, and operational roadblocks has been both demanding and rewarding.
Despite these obstacles, each challenge has shaped my resilience and strategic approach. I’ve learned that success isn’t just about expertise—it’s about continuously learning, building strong relationships, and staying agile in an ever-changing landscape.

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
One of my favorite childhood memories is the little “trading empire” I built with my older sister, Rebecka. Every weekend, we would get a small stash of sweets, and while Rebecka would devour hers within minutes, I had a different strategy. I saved mine, knowing that by midweek, she’d start craving more.
That’s when the negotiations began. I’d trade my carefully rationed candy for small favors—things like, getting control of the TV remote, hanging with her and her older friends, or even having her do my share of chores. She always gave in, and I always had leverage.
Looking back, I realize this was my first taste of deal-making and strategic thinking. It wasn’t just about the candy—it was about understanding timing, patience, and the value of holding onto something others wanted. It’s funny how those early childhood lessons carried into my career, where strategy, negotiation, and long-term vision are just as important.
