Today we’d like to introduce you to Jalen “j.c.f.” Fauntleroy
Hi Jalen “J.C.F.”, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
These last four years I’ve been cultivating and building my craft by producing music under the moniker, J.C.F. ,while also creating my film projects. I moved here from Arlington,TX in 2020 during the pandemic, and it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve made thus far in the pursuit of my dreams. I’m blessed to accomplished some of the goals I had written down at that time.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I always find obstacles to be a motivator more than anything. While it may make the journey difficult in the moment, I allow any challenge to build my resilience in order to prosper on the path I set out on.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a rapper, actor and filmmaker. As of recently I’ve released two singles, “Lucid Dreamz” and “Lil Buddy” from an upcoming project I’m working on. And I’ve been promoting my feature film, CHOICE$, through the film festival circuit. It’s a crime drama that I wrote, directed and starred in, and proud to have created with everyone involved.
