Today we’d like to introduce you to Kirstin Ross
Hi Kirstin, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I am a spiritual medium and intuitive. I connect people with their loved ones in Spirit. I also connect with my guides and give people information about their lives. I am also a mentor. I help people open up to their spiritual gifts through one-on-one mentoring.
I believe I was born with the ability to connect with Spirit. When I was 8 years old, I scared my mother with some specific information that I blurted out and she got upset with me. After that experience, I shut down any information I was receiving. Through the years, I always had a knowingness about people and information that they were not sharing openly. Being young, I thought that everyone had the same feelings and knew private things about people’s lives.
As an adult, I started to grow spiritually, and eventually I began to see, feel and hear information from Spirit. One day, my fiance and I were driving out of town for the weekend and I was looking out the window when I felt the presence of Spirit. I knew that it was my fiance’s father, who had passed before our second date and whom I had never met. I told my fiance that his father was with us and he said, “Excuse me?” I reiterated that his father was in the car with us and he looked at me like he thought I was joking. I told him that his father said since he didn’t believe me, he would give him a sign. Within 5 minutes, as I was looking out the car window, I felt drawn to a car that was passing us on the right. My attention was drawn to the license plate. I nudged my fiance and said, “Look!” and pointed to the license plate. It said FELIPE, which was his father’s name. He said, “Holy shit!” This was the first significant event that I can remember that made me think something unusual was happening.
As I became more open to Spirit, more events like this began happening and I realized that these events were not coincidences. I began reading books, taking classes, and I found a mentor to talk to. I began doing readings for friends, friends of friends, and eventually clients.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Being a full-time medium is not an easy road. It takes a lot of study, practice, introspection, assessment, honesty and experience. One of the hardest things for me was to learn to trust the information that I was receiving from Spirit. Everyone is afraid of hearing “no.” However, hearing “no” is a part of developing as a medium.
Through years of experience, I have developed an unshakeable faith in Spirit. That means that I trust Spirit completely. Even if someone says “no” to a piece of information, I know that it will make sense later. That’s why I encourage people to record their reading, because everyone gets nervous when they get a reading and they sometimes get what I call “psychic amnesia,” which is when information comes through that they don’t understand in the moment, but later in the reading or after thinking about it, they remember the experience that Spirit was sharing with them during the reading.

I would like your readers to know that there is no death. I call it “life after life.” The soul survives the physical body. Your loved ones in Spirit give me information that cannot be looked up and that only you would know so that there is no doubt that you are connecting with your loved ones in Spirit. Sometimes pets come through as well.
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
I think risk-taking is essential to personal growth. I believe that in life and in business, we need to get outside of our comfort zone, risk being a beginner and looking foolish in order to reach our true potential. If I hadn’t risked developing as a medium and delivering messages to people, I would not be a full-time medium today.
