Today we’d like to introduce you to Sergio Delavicci.
Sergio, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I came from humble rough beginnings. I was born in Europe, lived in the Middle East, and came to the United States in 1996 where I have been residing ever since. Like many kids from a dysfunctional family in the ’80s, ’90s, and being the only child I had a difficult upbringing. My outlet was martial arts, soccer, and movies which later in life inspired me to become an actor.
Although I’ve accomplished numerous goals, I still feel I haven’t reached my full potential. I have a much longer way to go and higher mountains to climb. Aside from working with phenomenal A-list actors such as Keanu Reeves, Hallie Berry, Anjelica Huston, Danny Glover, Jennifer Lopez, and many others, I believe I have a bigger purpose in life. I enjoy giving motivational speeches, helping the less fortunate, inspiring the next generation, and giving back to the community in any way I can.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
In my opinion, a smooth road doesn’t exist. Actually, difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations. I had to learn things the rough way. Some of the struggles along the way were rejection, failure, confusion, insecurities, self-esteem issues, etc.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
In my opinion, we’re all created on this Earth to create and prolong civilization. We all have special talents and qualities that make us unique which sets us apart from other people. I wear many hats and known for many things. I use my platform to help, motivate, inspire, and uplift the ones without any hope. I’m the voice for the have nots. Having turned nothing into something through hard work, dedication, discipline, persistence, self-belief, and strong faith in God. My objective is to show that in life everything is possible. In life, there is no such thing as impossible you can not spell impossible without the two words, “I’m Possible.”
Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
Networking is simply about getting yourself out there and creating new connections. Make sure you are always well prepared because you never know when an opportunity knocks. Always be prepared and have business cards with easy access to your email, phone number, and social media. It’s important to be approachable, friendly, professional, and versatile.
