Today we’d like to introduce you to Michael Matteo Rossi.
Hi Michael Matteo, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I knew I wanted to make films even as a kid and I started to write short stories in jr high and high school and then in college, I made short films and never looked back from then.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The biggest struggle is trusting those and vetting people to know which ones are legit or not. That’s why so many people work with the same people again because you can trust them and know they do great work.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am extremely ambitious and passionate and am always thinking of the next film to direct even when I get done with one. I’m always writing, directing or in post-production and never want to be stagnant. My two best films currently released are Shadows and Chase.
We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
That I love to dance actually and do so on set sometimes on break but it’s very fun! 🙂
