Rising Stars: Meet LolBrielle

Today we’d like to introduce you to LolBrielle.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started comedy in 2018 as a joke (no pun intended). From that first roar of laughter from the crowd, I was hooked. I never expected for it to go as well as it did… I have now been in two movies available on Amazon Prime, done countless shows, hosted parties, headlined and have thrown comedy shows of my own

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Has it been smooth? Ummm. I don’t know about that, lol but not necessarily rough either. Being in a male-dominated field has its own obstacles and stereotypes, but I manage them. Every dream has its challenges but I’m determined. Period. Any setback is just a little speed bump to me. I’m going to make my kids rich. No alternatives.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a comedienne, host and actress that grew up in East Cleveland, OH. I specialize in serotonin release lol I make people laugh. I also host parties and curate vibes. I honestly love happiness and love to see people enjoy themselves. My line of work makes that possible. I’m known for crowd work and I’m the singing comedienne lol you’ll ALWAYS get a song at a show of mine. I’m most proud of ME for believing in ME. I don’t care about rejection. I don’t care if I hear 100 no’s, all it took was that one “yes”. To even say that I’ve made it this far from that first 5 minute set I did. To generate revenue doing something I genuinely love is such a blessing. I’m also a first-generation entertainer but I really think my whole family has the gene. They’re just stage shy, lol.

What were you like growing up?
I’ve always been an introvert so it’s extraordinary that I’m in my field of work lol I was a read a book in the corner type of kid honestly. My mother always said I was going to be something important, she used to make me sing her songs all the time lol I was in choir and played a few instruments but I genuinely had no idea I was funny. At school, people always said I was funny. On social media, in work settings people always told me how funny I was. I became a Facebook comedian in like 2016 lol people would always say I should try to stand up and here we are today.
