Rising Stars: Meet Lauren Leslie

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lauren Leslie.

Lauren, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Ten years ago my best friend, who is now my sister, asked me if I wanted to be the lead singer of this band with her boyfriend & his brother; Brandon and Chris Leslie. Being entirely terrified of singing in front of people, I said yes. Because, well, I needed to grow up and stop living in fear. For ten years, we have worked our asses off; writing and writing and changing and growing. When our band evolved into Stalgia, it was one of the darkest times of my life as well as Brandon’s. We suffered with chronic depression, anxiety, mental illness, and understanding how to function as extremely sensitive empaths. When any three of us were to the point of giving up, one of the others was always there; to pick the other up off the floor and say KEEP F*CKN GOING. And we did. We never gave up. Through nervous and mental breakdowns, manic episodes, being dropped from a label, being left by managers.

Our angels would not let us stop because within our cores, we knew this was our life’s purpose. Not only angels from up above, but angels here on this earth with us. Our best friends, our families, our manager Jon (who saved us when we were ready to quit), to our now managers, Easton and Charles (who gave us the hope and belief that shot us through the roof). But most of all, to our fans in over 70 different countries all over the world who resonated with us and reminded us daily of our magic. Ten years later, we have explored through the glass ceiling and have been reborn through our awakenings. And the magic, light and future Of Yaya, B & Chris – of Stalgia, could not be brighter. What miracles happen when you let the Angels interfere and live in the atmosphere.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, it has not. We have struggled with mental illness, chronic depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, being highly sensitive empaths, having no money, being dropped from a label, being left by managers.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a singer/songwriter. I am the lead singer of a band called Stalgia. The other members are Brandon and Chris Leslie. We write conscious music. We are known for writing music that apparently makes your soul jump out of your body. I am most proud of the fact that the three of us, together, write music to raise people’s vibrations and help people see their our divine light. We are here to help the consciousness of the planet through high-frequency music channeled from angels/God/the universe. 💫❤️

What matters most to you?
Helping others find and become the divine light within themselves. Because we are all beautiful beings capable of magic, healing, and miracles. Each and every person on this earth is a divine extension of love and being awakened to that can heal anything and everything.
