Today we’d like to introduce you to Jordan Kasedy.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Originally from Canada – I started my career working in the industry through festival marketing, event production, and content production for events such as Osheaga, Ile Soniq, Escapade, Ever After, Grand Prix Formula 1, Piknic Électronik, as well as private events for Ciroc, XO (record label), and Ogilvy Holt Renfrew.
From there, I obtained my 01 visa in my field of entertainment and moved to Los Angeles. I have continued to work across the industry in content production, event production, and marketing with artists in EDM, Hip Hop, Pop, Rock, and more.
Upon moving to the US, I worked with Prodigy artists spearheading content, marketing, and events. Later on I worked with Create Music Group as the director of digital marketing and content. I’ve continued to work closely with artists in content production and have since joined Full Stop Management in their marketing department.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
There have been so many ups and downs but I have learned that challenges come with the territory of entertainment.
I was recently involved in an online event for ‘Women PowHer Music’ which was so amazing in so many ways. The event brought together a group of women from different roles across the industry and focused on giving personal experiences, advice, and opening the conversation to let listeners chime in with questions. Networking like that is such an amazing opportunity for anyone looking to learn more, facing challenges, or just simply looking to connect with others in their field.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I continue to remind myself to stay focused and trust the process. Working directly with artists at Full Stop in management is one of the things I love most about what I do. Constantly looking to create something new, take on new projects, and come up with unique activations.
I am also currently working on a new platform that I’ll be looking to launch in the new year that I am really excited to share with the world!
Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
The music industry and other creatives are truly the most inspiring, I love to connect with other like-minded individuals at all times as you never know what opportunities can present themselves.Networking is one of the most powerful tools at our fingertips!
