Rising Stars: Meet InCrowd Entertainment

Today we’d like to introduce you to InCrowd Entertainment.

Pre-Pandemic the partners of the company were producing and designing tours for some of the biggest names in music. While venue by venue quickly began shutting down, all our tours began to return to home base. Alongside our projects, thousands of technicians were losing their jobs to Covid-19. While things were dwindling, we found it as an opportunity to create an avenue for artists and techs to keep working. We started with music streams for all genres until we realized there was a gaping whole in one genre you NEED an audience for, Comedy. We quickly hit the drawing board to come up with the best way to interact with someone via video conferencing apps such as Zoom. Using our skills of Production & Stage design, we came up with a product that looks great and has no latency. At InCrowd, you are able to interact with an audience of people for all types of mediums. Live Performance, Town Hall Meetings, Private Holiday Parties, they are all customizable and unique to every project.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Just like everything, there are peaks and valleys. One of the biggest struggles we have come across is to maintain a healthy environment with all the proper PPE. Since the birth of the company was during a worldwide pandemic, we have taken personal care and the care of our clients very seriously while operating under strict Covid guidelines. Another struggle pertaining to InCrowd itself is the audio. Keeping track of 300+ attendees at one time is no walk in the park. The collaboration between our audio and moderation teams has been challenging but very successful. Lastly, due to the quick timeline of how fast we had to pivot, waiting for the traditional business models to catch up has been challenging.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
The best thing about Los Angeles is how diverse and cultural it is. What we like least is the traffic and the airport.
