Rising Stars: Meet Artist Waterofelegance

Today we’d like to introduce you to Artist Waterofelegance.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Introducing Independence MO Artist who has a New R&B Soul / Jazzy Style like no other “Waterofelegance”. I was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL. I have been singing since age six and continued writing because of my love for music and pursued music as a career. My mission is to promote positive inspirational music that brings Happiness and also Spreads Love Across the planet Earth. and is Currently Creating Buzz all Through the Music Industry, I was Recognized by Award-Winning Montell Jordan for my inspirational music and bringing Positive music to the Community. Which you may check it out below!

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Nothing starts out as smooth… but I appreciate the journey because it made me who I am today. There were was always negativity coming from others who judged my talent based on the world

of how they thought I should be are sound as singing or because I was fully dressed…not wearing short dresses or showing enough skin. But I am Waterofelegance and my whole style of outlook and style of dressing is different including singing and music is not the same so it can’t be judged…I have always had the confidence no matter what anyone thought.

I would take it and smile in keep in mind that I can’t please everyone.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a musical artist and proud to present to the public inspirational music that is healing for the soul and that all ages can listen to…I love producing positive music, you don’t have to worry about your child being influenced by wrong music.

All Ages Are Welcome!

Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
My advice is whatever your career path is to always have the confidence in yourself no matter what others say. Don’t allow people to stop your dream… Now, if it’s something that is going to benefit your journey, take their criticizing as a way to make you stronger but if it’s statements such as your not good enough for that, you are not talented enough for that; keep going and one day you will accomplish your goal… When I first started out, I used to post my music on YouTube and it was not professional meaning the video was shot with a laptop…lol! and dancing/singing on camera but as time went on, I decided to take my music more serious by going to a professional recording studio and recording all of my songs getting them mixed in mastered and getting Blog Exposure, and Radio Promotions, etc… There is nothing I regret because it was a part of my journey to get me where I am today.
