Rising Stars: Meet Angelle Talerico

Today we’d like to introduce you to Angelle Talerico.

Hi Angelle, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I have always had a passion for discovering different ways to improve the health of the skin. All growing up, I would use different oils and butter for periods of time, and observe the effect each one had on the texture and appearance of my face and body.

After years of trial and error, I finally found the best natural ingredients that always brought out the best in my skin’s health. During the beginning of quarantine, I had more time on my hands since work was slowing down. I decided to start making my concoctions for my close friends and family to see how their skin reacted to it.

After I received only great reviews, I began to make my products in bulk and start selling them. Today, consumers say that these are the best products they’ve ever used on their skin, and have even cleared up or improved skin conditions such as eczema, lupus, and psoriasis!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Nothing worth having is going to be a smooth road. I have definitely had frustrating moments, long nights, and disappointments; but the positive ALWAYS outweighs the negative.

I didn’t quit, and I am making an impact on the way people feel about their skin, so it is more than worth it to me.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Outside of creating skincare, I love to spend my time singing and learning about music.

I went to school and studied music throughout college. Something in my career that I am proud of, was having the opportunity to work with Kanye West while I was a part of the Sunday Service choir.

I have always admired him as a creative, so being able to see his process in person was surreal.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
My favorite childhood memories are simple things. Like always playing with my best friend outside right after school until night and not getting tired. Or remembering all the time my mom and I would spend together.
