Rising Stars: Meet Abrina Bell & Marketa Piernas of Noir Fashion Boutique

Today we’d like to introduce you to Abrina Bell & Marketa Piernas. Them and their team share their story with us below:

Noir Fashion Boutique was founded in 2020 by two fashion-savvy women who wanted to offer trendy and chic fashionable styles at an affordable price. Our story began with an online presence and customer base in the Southeast region of the US and has grown across the country and internationally. Recently, the Noir brand expanded to mobile vending machines. Currently, the Mobile Fashion to Go vending machines are located on military installations to include Keesler Air Force Base. The machines offer affordable and quality clothing at a price of $30 and under. Stay tuned as this is just the beginning of our story.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Noir Fashion Boutique was launched right at the onset of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak. When the pandemic hit, there was a widespread and immediate impact to the entire country. There were many obstacles including the mass shut down which in itself created economic uncertainty with the loss of jobs and government initial response time to aid all small businesses. No one knew how long the pandemic would last and as such this greatly impacted how consumers spent. In the words of President Barack Obama, “nothing in life that’s worth anything is easy.” We worked hard to find the right balance of bold, unique and styles for every occasion, creative ways to engage our customer base and increased our social media presence. All while still giving back to our communities through various initiatives to include but not limited to donating Noir clothing to local women’s shelters and paying it forward for single mothers with donations to bills and Noir clothing.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
