I started Wellema Hat Company in 2013 & was making hats sometime before then. A interest of the past is what launched the vision of Wellema Hats. A fascination for the history of the past has been a part of me for quite some time. The music, the lifestyle, the culture, the fashion and so on. When you see almost any photo from the 1920s-1950s you see hats. Both men & ladies…to me, that was fascinating. When watching silent film, looking at album covers from the early 20th century, you see hats everywhere! Fast forwarding into present day; you can see hats slowing making a come-back. Read more>>

My brother started working as a plumber in 2006 right after receiving his certificate. In 2009, he encouraged me to join him. And now I’m very glad I made the right choice. We have worked hard, learned a lot, have determination and dedication, and to top it off, we really love what we do. We have built a strong business relationship. In 2016, my brother and I decided we can start our own company. Young and driven, with babies coming, we decided it was the right time. Our goal is to build great relationships with happy clients, at reasonable prices without hurting our quality of work. Read more>>

Astral Media started off as a fun hobby that I started back in 2014. I was booking concerts at the time and loved documenting my shows by taking photos of the events. Eventually I became more comfortable behind the camera and ended up picking up a Sony a6000. This camera opened my eyes to the creative potential of photography, I was immediately hooked. Over the next 2 years I worked hard taking photos/recording videos at every concert I could attend in Southern California. With every show I shot at, my audience continued building up little by little. Read more>>

I guess it goes without saying that I’ve been an animal lover all my life. I’ve had pets all my life, I raised project animals in high school with Future Farmers of America (FFA), I’ve worked on several horse ranches. I remember once when I was about 5 it was a rainy day. You know how when it rains the snails come out? Well, I was worried they would drown so I started picking them up and putting them in the mailbox to “save” them. Didn’t go over so well when My mom went to get the mail!! But, what really got me started in dog training was working in a Veterinary Clinic. Along with being a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT), I am a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT). Read more>>

Everything begins with curiosity. By nature, we are interested in things that attract us, and how everything about it flows together to become this image or presentation that we perceive. The universe of health and beauty has kept my attention since I can remember. It’s kind of hard to escape don’t you think? (were all in this together!) Because it’s actually evolved from even pre – ancient Greek spa practices, ancient Rome, and ancient Egypt. Spas and baths were used to treat different ailments and makeup and body adornments were used for many reasons, and still are today. Health and Beauty continues to evolve every single day. Read more>>

My first concert at 16 years old was to see the 80’s band Erasure that was playing in LA. However, this was not a concert – it was a full blown theatrical production! I had never been to the theater or seen such beautiful costumes, choreography, and movement and at that moment I fell in love. The next day I searched and found my first dance class. Knowing that I was very late in the game I went ahead and got my degree in dance anyway. During that time, I was training and starting to teach ballroom and Latin dances. Read more>>

My wife and I were in rock bands back in the 1980’s and played all over LA and Southern California; that is how we met. We decided to go back to school and get our degree’s and once we did, people started asking us if we could teach them how to play/sing. Our business started in our home, grew to a very small store front location, and then within four years, grew to the location it is today, next door to Guitar Center, Brea. We believe that everyone has some kind of musician, singer, performer artist inside of them, and our passion is to provide instruction and encouragement to help them achieve their goals and aspirations. Read more>>

Established in 1998, Savor the Flavor has been focusing on the International Fancy Food Show award winners. We decided on this venture because of our love for food and entertaining friends and family. We refer to ourselves as the Gourmet Gals! We try everything before bringing it into the shop. If it doesn’t WOW us, then it doesn’t get put on our shelves. We travel all over to find all these specialty foods and gifts. We go to Las Vegas, New York, Atlanta, Chicago, San Francisco, Philadelphia (just to name a few) and attend all these international gift and food shows and bring back the best-of-the-best and the award winners… Our goal has been to find the best tasting specialty foods as well as gourmet gifts, home decor and personal luxuries and offer them to any and all who share our passion. Read more>>
