Meet Yi Zhou of Global Intuitio, Yizhoustudio, and Into the Sun Entertainment

Today we’d like to introduce you to Yi Zhou.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Yi. So, let’s start at the beginning, and we can move on from there.
I started my first company YiZhouStudio in China in late 2011, it was after I moved back to China after completing my studies in Europe and growing up most of my life in Europe. I was just an artist back then, I thought I would only produce my art videos for my exhibitions. Things took a different turn when I started being approached by luxury brands to do their China strategy, some also PR and social media support to their local teams.

So we started doing more and more work in the luxury field. This has led to a new wave for us to be strategic partners of companies such as Partizan/Vroom for a global offer with a focus on China market for luxury brand digital assets creation and strategy as well as the creation of my own fashion and lifestyle brand: Global Intuition.

I have also founded last summer, INTO THE SUN ENTERTAINMENT, a branding, marketing, business development, and content production company with a focus on entertainment & fashion industries for Asia & Hollywood.

Founded by artist and filmmaker YiZhou, Into The Sun Entertainment ( is an all-female new company based in Los Angeles with Colleen Camp on the board, it is also a contributing sponsor and strategic partner of the festival of disruption.

Has it been a smooth road?
I have always been lucky to have good mentors such as my dad, Barry Navidi, my godmother Susan Becker for genuinely helping me find a place in LA and intro me to so many people and cool venues.

She is a world-renowned costume designer and part of the academy member, I cherish everything she tells me and advised me to do.

I must admit I am lucky to have many mentors and supporters: my agents globally at WME/IMG, my publishers, my legal team, Tommy Hilfiger, Colleen Camp, Oliver Stone, etc.

GLOBAL INTUITION is inspired by social media and everyday life, digital philosophy and quotes, science and meditation and cross-cultural eventful moments and exchanges.

GLOBAL INTUITION is an American brand that highlights the cross border aspect of creativity and production today. The brand was conceived in the social media era, designed in Shanghai and Los Angeles and produced in China, with a focus on Chinese manufacturing, know-how, and sustainability.

Breaking away from traditional fashion show codes, the brand is completely based on the “see now and buy now” model. The brand’s motto is “Minimal Soulful Luxury” for modern-day social media citizens.

The line will feature a basic line with an affordable price point, a classic line consisting of more expensive items with a higher price point, as well as special limited edition heritage lines.

I love being in LA, it makes me feel healthy and happy daily, I love soul cycle, Fred Segal, streets and hills of Beverly Hills
