Meet Yasmin Lopez of Yasmin’s Photo Booth in Pasadena

Today we’d like to introduce you to Yasmin Lopez.

Yasmin, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I got the idea of starting a photo booth business at my Vowel Renewal 10th Wedding Anniversary party in 2016. My husband Erik and I had booked a small photo booth company (ran by a couple), and I saw how much fun they were having while working. I thought to myself I want to do that!

I want to have fun and watch people have fun while making a living. I just love that pictures are printed out instantly. I remember growing up I had to wait days for pictures to get developed. Kids nowadays will never know the struggle it was to wait for days to see the pictures you had taken at a party. That’s the awesome part of photo booths.

You have entertainment, and you take pictures home with you as a party favor. That’s why soon after our first experience with a photo booth (three months after) I started my own Photo Booth company Yasmin’s Photo Booth.

Has it been a smooth road?
The only struggle I had was learning everything on my own. I learned on my own how to operate a photo booth, how to advertise it, how to manage the money for supplies. With no prior experience.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Yasmin’s Photo Booth – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Yasmin’s Photo Booth is a Photo booth Company. I like to say I specialize in Weddings, Quinceañeras, and Sweet Sixteens. It’s what I get booked for the most. I am known for having awesome pictures. When people contact me it usually because they saw a friend’s, coworkers or family members photo booth picture and they liked the picture.

Our photo booth pictures are so nice you can definitely frame them. The thing that I am most proud of is that I get returning clients all the time and that’s because they love the services we provide. I treat my clients how I would like to be treated. I give the services that I would like to receive from a company.

Friendly but still professional and passionate about what I do. Because I really do enjoy having a photo booth company it’s not just about the money.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I was born and raised in Pasadena. There is nothing I dislike about this city. It’s beautiful! Ok but maybe I do dislike the traffic in LA.
