Meet Victor Nwaba

Today we’d like to introduce you to Victor Nwaba.

Victor, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
As a kid, I’ve had a natural act for building relationship with others that could last a lifetime. Throughout the years, I’ve maintained several of those bonds, from classmates to teammates and friends, and have followed up with people in the hopes of being a trusted aide. I think that spirit has followed me throughout my life. Now, I get to do that every day by meeting great people, having a conversation and helping them achieve their financial plans and goals.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
With anything, there are always some challenges and/or adversities. However, I never look at it as a failure, but an opportunity to learn and become stronger. I am happy to say that every meeting and conversation has made me a more prepared and knowledgeable advisor for the next. This is especially true with your first encounters, but getting out there, asking questions, and following up has always been my best tool.

We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
I work as a financial advisor for a fraternal financial organization named Modern Woodmen of America. I focus on assisting individuals making wise financial decisions that will positivity impact their and their family’s futures. This can be accomplished in several ways, but it always begins with a conversation of goals and desires.

The best part of working for Modern Woodmen is helping the organization fulfill their mission and ultimate service to our members. We abide by faith, family, and most importantly fraternal aide that allows us to give back to communities who need it the most. Throughout my time, I have partner with several amazing non-profit organizations and contributed to their cause in a variety of ways. In just the last year, we gave over $20 million dollars supporting our fraternal activities and that is something I am extremely proud of.

What sets me apart from other entrepreneurs and advisors is my willingness to go above and beyond for every single one of my clients. Although my office is located in Newport Beach, I work with clients throughout California, because distance is not a factor.

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
The great saying goes, “patience is a virtue” and I could not agree more. When in the people’s business, it is important that when you meet with a client, you allow them fully grasp and commit to their goals and the steps needed to get there. As long as you focus on their needs and their best interest, everything simply falls into place.
