Meet Bri Steck

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bri Steck.

Bri, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
During my junior year of college, I fell in love with hotel entertainment and marketing, so I changed my major and landed a job in the PR field for a production company that produced shows on the Strip. After years in this industry working both in house and for agencies I knew I was ready for a change. As a Vegas native, I have always been the go to girl for planning a girls night out. I always have friends in the industry and if I don’t know anyone I made friends with the person I should know. My first business was Night School 4 Girls, a pole dancing class that was featured on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, we created 2 packages for the class that included other activities and these packages became very popular (it’s still on the site and still very popular). The girls started to ask for other activities, and recommendations and that is how Vegas Girls Night Out was born. I take pride in employing an all female staff because I think women know women best, that is why our tag line is “By women for women”. We also know that planning a girls night out is difficult because everyone has a different budget and girls have a hard time getting everyone on the same page, this is why we created very affordable pre-made packages with some of the most booked activities. We also realized that sometimes girls want to create their itinerary (with our expert assistance), so we created a “custom package” form on the site to allow our customers the opportunity to create the perfect Vegas girls trip. Vegas Girls Night Out is completely based on my relationships with my partners. I hand pick every service that we offer and negotiate the best pricing, seating, options, etc. and then pass them on to my customers. I want every party to feel like they are experiencing Vegas the way I would without breaking the bank!

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My biggest challenges have been technological. I’m at the mercy of my ticketing system, and unfortunately, it doesn’t perform the way that I would like. It’s also one of the most important aspects because if it doesn’t work properly or goes down, I’m unable to process any orders. I’m currently with a reliable ticketing/sales system but have been searching for the perfect system that is also reliable.

Please tell us about your business.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite childhood memory would be vacationing with my family. My mom worked for the airlines, so we traveled for (nearly) free. My mom would take us all over the country and even the world! We had such a great time experiencing so many different places.
