Today we’d like to introduce you to Uriahis Martin.
Uriahis, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Truly a story of how positivity changed my life. A simple perception switch. Parts of my family were black panthers. My mother and grandfather died same year when I was seven, then my dad died when I was 21. I was homeless and started 100kthefamily to help the world because I saw so many on the streets, then I began to understand more. I realized I was always a happy person and if I can get more people to realize their true potential, then we can get more people thinking about the earth. Officially wed have a chance to help everyone, and thats the dream to help as many as possible. During the many charity events and fundraisers we’ve done, I found a voice and started expressing my views in social media. Now, after five years we have 2,000 members worldwide, 100,000 followers and 37 million+ views. A lot of time is spent looking for land to teach on and positive events where we can travel, live in the woods and learn to help the earth and its people through multiple classes and community building. The goal is to not just make funny videos anymore but to start making positivity more viral to affect more people. Then buy land and build a bunch of philanthropists.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not a smooth road at all. Losing everything I had and then realizing losing friends was a regular thing too. So growing up was hard but the hardest part was managing the mindset that if which wanted to understand and teach everyone because now they could feel how close we are as humans and feel how serious the mission is! Redirecting my brain waves while dealing with America without a family to ask was hard. Money is hard but not as hard as I thought so I’m excited about the future, but I lived in the hood and never had money so it’s all or nothing its really no choice I might as well live all my dreams.
We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
Charity events for orphans and the youth in general! Face to face help of thousands in our city. Internet influence sending positive messages worldwide! Started charity and events for the homeless when we were homeless. Magazine placements, music video placements, red carpet invites. Every country has contacted us and been affected by us in the last five years only! I personally am known for making people happy and smile well-known fact!
Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
@daylyt inspired me the most, but truly every single fan and person I meet has inspired me immensely! Pepperdine university gave me a lot of contacts and knowledge as well as a diploma. My lil brother is the reason I even do anything tho and the reason why I will never stop!
