Meet Troy Reed of Tee, The Writer

Today we’d like to introduce you to Troy Reed.

Troy, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I have always had a desire to write. So, I decided to turn my passion into a career. I originally started working out by working out of my house. Over time, I realized that in order to really establish myself – I needed a brick and mortar location. By the grace of God, I was able to locate an office in a prime location within Downtown, just two blocks from the Staples Center. I have been here now for 12 years. It has definitely been some journey.

Has it been a smooth road?
It has definitely has not been a smooth journey. Starting a business from scratch is very difficult. There are a lot of growing pains that you have to go through. In the early years, I definitely had my share. Establishing yourself and building trust with your customers is probably the hardest part. Keeping things going while you are waiting for the business to reach self – sufficiency is a hard road to tow. You just have to have the willingness and desire to see things through.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Tee, The Writer – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
Having been born and raised in Los Angeles, I can say that I love L.A. I love the enormity of the city. L.A. is big and spread out. There are always new things to see and do. The city never gets boring. There is always something to do. Of course, you have to take the good with the bad. The cost of living here is ridiculous. The traffic is even worse. And, there is never anywhere to park.
